Hmm... that's an interesting one ;) Actually, the machines in the clocktower seem to be running some sort of UNIX OS (which all the hackers use!) They even have a command line (like DOS, but much better). Come to think of it, BoP is the first show since "The Lone Gunmen" which has accurately portrayed how real hackers use computers. For instance, the command prompt on my Linux system looks like this:

But I would first of all like to clarify that I had my hair cut before Bop ever aired. So I already had it cut like Helena does. ;)

On with the list.
-Your family and friends worry that you might be a little addicted to the show.

-You talk about Bop so much that your family and friends know everything about the show and have never watched an ep.

-You start to hum songs such as the revolution one.

-You don't have nice things to say about the WB and Levin in general.

-You come to the board when you can and read everything.

-You start to write Fan fiction (which I haven't done in ages. I think I'm up to 20 stories by now.)

-Yup quote the show as well! And think about it a lot too. (including new ways to save it.)

-When a Bop ep plays you watch it then and there. You double tape it just in case your tape breaks. Hey you never know!

-You keep fighting for the show no matter what.

-The show actually gets you into a comic book store which I have not done in a long time.

-You find anything you can that has to do with Bop (unaired 1st ep, interviews, Ashley on Dark Angel and so on.)

-You beg your friends to help you get WB street points just so you can get a Bop poster and T-shirt. (It was worth it trust me.) :D

On a side note I think I am being haunted by Bop.

-Whenever I turn on the radio no matter what they are playing a song I heard on Bop.

-I have seen so many hawks in the last few weeks its not even funny. And you should see this big hawk that keeps appearing in my back yard.

-I keep hearing people say the words ‘Birds of Prey.’

such as I walked into my vets office and they had the TV on and the person is going on and on and then mentioned the words Birds of Prey.

I was walking past a classes room and someone was doing a presentation and mentioned Birds of Prey. Apparently she was doing a presentation on Rabbits.

Even the guy on the radio said it. And I keep hearing people mention Batman as well!

That's so true, you know, that keeps happening to me since a few week, is unbelievable. And the thing about the tape, well I got the eps on my computer (I download them from kazaa) and burned some CDs – like you said, you never know I even did some sticker for the CDs you can watch one of them.

-when you find it entertaining to hang out at a fictitious bar, playing fictitious cards ('truth-or-dare poker rocks!'), drinking fictitious drinks, and having a grand ol' time with not-so fictitious humans. :)

-when no-one is allowed to leave your room unless they sit down and watch at least 5 quality minutes of "birds of prey", or else....

Here r some of things i did


~I had a History assignment to do about the Industrial Revolution. And I posted flyers around the class saying "Start A Revolution"

~I help my twin come up with steps for her dance to a song called "Start A Revolution" and she ends up making a big speech about the show before she dances about how cool the show is.
but just gets a bit sad when ppl say they wanna see it but u tell them it's canceled.

~ When walk down an alley and pray to god that a scrumbag comes ur way just so that u can ask "Do u give up yet?" and beg that they say "I suggest u run away grillie" Just so that u can reply "I'm sorry running, it's just not my stlye"

~U call ur room "The Clock Towers" and ur kicthen "Dark Horse Bar" and whoever is there to fix u up a vodka.

~ I consantly write on my paper where says name I put Barbara Gordon (The Oracle)

~ I tell everyone that I hate to read and force my English teacher to let me read BOP Fanfic ;)

~ I doddle in my paper BOP ROX!! I am the Weapon, Be Loud. Be Heard. Be free. Be A... Bird! Normaility is overratted, The Dark Knight's Daughter! Oracle, and so much more. And then when my friends ask me to let them copy the hw they end up reading everything there.

~U make a drama art project on BOP of an outline of "Oracle's Lair" and beg ur twin to make u banners to print out and paste on it.

~ U chase the boys in ur classroom for chanting "Birds Of Gay"

~ I acctually tried to be like Helena and learn how to do a front flip and a-turn-and-kick.

~ Everytime ur in a fight with a boy u end up throwing him against the wall.

~ I wasted my paycheck and my twin's to buy myself a trenchcoat. I'm the only one school that has it.. and everytime some one says something about it I say "Don't mess with the outfit."

~ I dyed my hair orange like Oracle and tell everyone to call me "Queen of the Cyber Realm"

~ When u watch "Soul Train" just to watch Shemar Moore and end up yelling at the tv screen for 5hours cuz he dancing with some other girl.

~ U make ur own BOP maurchindise.

~ U try to do everything that ppl just said about being BOP addicted. (That's gonna be my goal everyday :D )

~ When ur friends r surprise that u say "hi" instead of "Oh my god, u never guess wat happened about BOP!"

~ U begin to walk like Huntress in the streets, Ur head high and ur butt side to side.

~ After ur teacher gives out the hw. u respond "I'm on it!"

*when you become a member of an online radio station initially because they had a weekend dedicated solely to b.o.p. and its fans! (p.s. neuf rocks! :) ).. now you listen when you get the chance cuz the station is good.

*when it takes many many days to post an ongoing story written on the fly by many addicts that takes place in a locale called the dark horse bar, yet the whole story itself is taking place in just one very long night. :D (who's in for another round of poker? LOL)

*when you keep buggin' your "friend" to join even though he's been over-seas since august and only knows the show is in existance because you are so addicted to it and talk/i.m./e-mail him about it all the time... eventually he does join just to shut you up... now you keep buggin' him to actually start posting- so what if he's never seen the show- he knows enough about it from me. :)

*when you keep saying to yourself "i'll get off in 10 minutes" and it finally hits you that it's 2 hours later.

*when you start reciting the words to the episodes are you're NOT watching them at the time- random sayings wind up coming out in the middle of organic chemistry lab and biochemistry lab and physics lab and..... (lots of interesting looks are given to you as a result)

*you find yourself starting too many sentences with "guess what happened when i was buggin' out with my b.o.p buddies last night...."

*you find yourself wondering "what is it that SGH is gunna do to get me back for the famous 'lap-dance' incident?"
and then you realize that maybe you are a little too addicted to the show... as well as the website. :)

-The big one of today! When you look at today's paper and notice a headline 'Birds of Pr...' You grab the section thinking that maybe just maybe your TV writer decided to write on the campaign. I wish I could go to the Mega Con (same here about the cold weather) What sucks though is that not everyone who goes can get an autograph. :( It would be SO freaking cool to meet Dina Meyer. Actually it's not much of a story, but here goes: I watched the season finale on one channel (Canadian Shaw digital cable 65) at 5:00pm, then I watched it at 8:00pm on ch. 65. During the second viewing on a comercial break (around the part where Helena first went up against Chris) I felt a sudden need to eat something. Nothing in the cupboard or the fridge, so I looked in the freezer. And I found... a full mini ice-cube tray! So I wacked out all the ice cubes, put 'em in a bowl, and ate them while I was watching BoP.
Now I like to eat mini ice-cubes when there's nothing else- and I always think of BoP when I eat them. ;) And I always eat the whole tray, then fill it up again for next time :smoke:

So if it sounds stupid, well... :rolleyes:

Plus they look pretty in a crystal bowl :p I'm eating some now :D
