Batman #614

Whoa! Has anyone seen the preview for Batman #614. It seems Batman has had enough of Joker and his evil ways and has decided to take him down. All the way down. He swears that tonight Joker will die by his hand! Do you think he can do it? Will he? Or will they just use that to draw us in and have Batman have a change of heart by the end of the comic book.

Batman just doesn't kill. But it would be interesting if he did...

Like you, I don't believe he'll do it either. Unless the writers are looking to change his image. The cover itself is pretty darn scary looking. But, still, I think he'll come to his senses at the end.

Just a ploy to get people to buy the comic book. "Hey, let's get this comic, it's a monumental occasion! Batman finally kills the Joker!" And even if he does die, he'll be resurrected at a later date. It's the whole "Death of Superman" scheme again.

Agreed! Which is why I was glad to find out that my brother has it on order - I can read it at not pay a cent for it. ;)
