So, what's the deal with the comic DC was planning? Was it canned due to the show's cancellation? I don't remember hearing any recent news about the comic's cancellation, so I was wondering if anybody might know something.

I believe that its canned, the artist said in some short interview that she(I believe it was a she) that DC canned it since it would have come out in like May , and there was no point to release it.
Too bad. That would have been one comic I would certainly have gotten. Wish they would change their minds.

Why don't you try the actual BOP comic? :)

It's OK.
I'm not exactly doing cartwheels over it, though. o.o

I liked the comic book, it was the book that made me like Oracle. Up until I read the book I hated the character honestly cause she seemed very rude and mean. But I find through BOP the comic that there were reasons for this, such as she is extrememly busy and also she is almost always right, because she's a super computer dectective and such.
I absolutely ADORE the Phil Noto noir ish covers... I would like to see him draw an entire Issue. His "Beautiful Killer" over at Dark Horse was GREAT...I think anyway. It is a bit off the beaten path as far as the styling of his work but I like it.

They keep redoing it, a new title but the same thing.
And you know why they keep bringing it back, because it's that damn good.

Yeah, but I could just smell Beppo, the super-monkey making his way out of retirement and in to SG.....

LOL .. I haven't thought about him in since he was mentioned in the Superman AS.
But seriously ... they were really on a role just as the book got axed ... I was hoping they would find a way to save Kara in this universe .. I like the way they handled her ... and it would have set a precedent to maybe bring back other charactors such as the pre-crisis Huntress.
