Bop Action Figures Are In !!!

Thought you guys would like to know !!!

For anyone who collects DC Action Figures the BOP Deluxe Set is in AT LAST !!!

The set which is pictured here contains Oracle, Huntress and Black Canary, though they are the COMICBOOK VERSIONS !!! But they are very cool !!! I bought three sets myself .. one for my computer room at home (LOL note the satutes in the background and the Kero stuffed beanie on my desk to the left) one for my office and one to keep boxed in mint condition.

There was supposed to be a set in development of the show versions, but I'm sad to announce that with the cancelation of the show the action figures were shelved too (DAMN IT !!)

But who knows if we can bring the show back they might just bring them out one day too. :cool:

I will like Huntress with out the mask... has a charming... But the set it's great.. where do you get??

There's a Dark Angel action figure out (featuring Jessica Alba as Max).

Cancellation does not necessarily have to mean the end of merchandising -- especially if we can get a DVD release of the show a la Dark Angel. :)

As always, check with your friendly neighborhood comic shop. If not there, try Toys-R-Us.

they should make action figures of the BOP t.v show too for those of us that aren't into comics. that would be cool!

Toys R Us doesn't carry DC Direct Toys that I have ever seen. Most of the action figures are exclusive to comic shops especially the deluxe sets like this one. Any local comics shop should be able to get them for you if they don't stock them. And these sets aren't cheap which is another reason TRU doesn't stock them.

They look a little fake, I know they can not make exact replicas - but they are nothing like how they really are. It is cool though, that we see a TV show brought to action figures. *Thinks* Maybe they will make Charmed Action Figures.

Like I said before ... these figures are based on the COMICBOOK versions of the charactors NOT the show versions, hence these are what the charactors SHOULD look like.

If they would have put Ashley Scott and Lori Louglin in these costumes, I bet the show would still be on the air today.

You got three sets Jesse? Wow! I might just have to get one so that I have a set. Though I would much rather have action figures from the show. Interesting. Hmm under $50. Yeah that's on my B-day list now! :)

One can only hope. Because lets face it a lot of money can be made off the Bop show! (Look at all the tape trading going on. As well as people (trying to) make the necklace by Huntress or batarangs. There is money to be made.)

I would've figured that WB would've put out a DVD set just to counter the tape-trading and d/ling going on.

I've seen Batarangs for sale on the Internet (I guy I met at MegaCon was actually packing a pair! :eek: ).

I agree with you on that SevenSlave. But money could be made in other areas still. (Side note: Have you seen how much a Bop poser is going for on ebay?)

So the guy at MegaCon was actually packing a pair! Wow! Did he make it himself or did he buy them? (I know some Star Trek conventions I went to a lot of people made there own stuff!)
My little Huntress necklace is all drawn out but that's as far as I have gotten!

I would like to know the real reason BOP was cancelled. The WB HAS to see the potential the show had. TV guide was going to do a multi cover issue on BOP, that was axed with news of the cancelletion too. This could have been huge, but they're still sitting on it, why?

Kea ..... I'm in good with the owner of my comic shop so he let me have these at cost ... cause he knows how much of a fan of the show I am and that I have been bringing flyers and such to the stores in the area in efforts to save the show and bring it back.

Jesse lucky you! That is really cool! I think I am going to have to get me a set now! Just to have something else of Bop!

You know I just realized I wrote that wrong. (Sorry for the confusion!) Actually DrayvensCrow I meant I would be happy with a batarang that was a copy from the show or something like that. I want one that looks like the one they used on the show. Not the actually one they used on the show. (No way I could afford that!) Unless someone wants to just give me one! :D ;)
