I went to the Batman message boards and a few those whiny readers are still critzising BOP for no damn reason.They need to stop hiding behind freedom of speech or else I'll recomend DC to ban them for spamming.:fume:

Its a Messageboard for the comicbook-fans to tell their opinions. They have every right in the world to hate it and every right to bitch about it.

They are critizing it cause they didn't like it. GET OVER IT ! not everyone thinks like you do ... and if anyone is whining around here its you HB.

Do you even read the BOP comicbooks? Have you ever bothered to pick one up? If you did you would know how good they are and mabye you might get a little prespective in that dim witted head of yours.

As for recommending DC ban them for spamming they out number you 20 to 1 over there ... I sincerely doubt you would even make a ripple in that pond .... more than likely they would ban you for being annoying.

And by the way .... "Hiding behind freedom of speech" ... what kind of an assinine oxymoronic statement is that???

SHEESH if you ask me its smartass teenagers that should be banned.

You made several good comments. The people att the DCboards are fanboys/girls and purists, its basicly their forum, and if there is one place in the net to bitch about stupid changes from the source material, then its the DCcomics.com boards!.

Super .... everyone is entitled to thier opinion ... just becuase we don't agree doesn't make thier points of veiw any less valid. And to try to shut them up just cause they don't agree with you violates the very meaning if the first amendenment. Not that I would expect a 14 year old to understand what that means, but when you make a statement like that it just proves your own or his own stupidity.

To be perfectly frank ... I've been reading comics for 30 years ... and I wasn't ENTIRELY comfortable with the shows free hand at mixing up the source matieral, but I could get past it and enjoy it for what it was. But even though I could do that, I could also understand others not likeing it. There were more than SEVERAL heated debates about BOP at the comic book stores and a couple of get togethers that I attended.

The one thing that everyone could agree on though was that the show had enormous potencial and that it got a totally raw deal in its timeslot and the way it was handled.

And Dray ... HB has been around annoying the hell out of several of us longer than AE has.

EVEN THOUGH THIS IS TOTALLY OFF TOPIC !!!

Dray ... with a ping pong paddle you get to do one cheek at a time. And the rubber mat coating on them leaves a bit of a nice sting.

HEHEHEHEHEHE .... I'll just let you all wonder how I know that little tidbit of fact.

That's a matter of opinion ...

I agree that the early issues were pretty good. However, I've heard that the more recent issues (up through #50) leave a lot to be desired (I've heard complaints that the pencilling was "too cartoonish").

Actually Liz .... the book has suffered somewhat since Chuck Dixon left it, but taking into consideration the CRAP thats out there its still one of the better reads available.

But there is a new creative team coming on board soon that shows ALOT of promise, and they are bringing in the Huntress as a more regular charactor from what I hear, which is good for me since she is my all time favorite.

As for my time away from the boards ..... LOL ..... you don't want to know LOL !!!
