Will Dinah become the Black Canary this season?

I've been reading up on the history of the characters and saw that Dinah is the Black Canary. Will she become the Black Canary this season?

Well she's definitely the daughter of the Black Canary who will be appearing in an episode this season.....but whether Dinah will actually be called Black Canary remains to be seemed. I can't see how while there is still someone else called that, unless her mother "retires" or something.......

Wait a minute, who exactly is the Black Canary? Is she a character from the Batman era?

Erm..... getting way too far into comic book stuff for me! :) I'm sure someone will know. Wouldn't hurt to check out the spoilers for the episode when she appears either.

there were 2 black canarys in the comics.one was from the golden age of comics and she was a member of the justice society of america who fought during world war 2.The second black canary was part of the justice league of america from the 70s on up.She had a relationship with green arrow.as for if rachel will become black canary,I do not think so.the producers have decided to have her mother be black canary.
