View Full Version : Campaign Questions

I was looking at the revamped, campaign page and saw no email addresses to any of the names and networks on it. Does this mean that emailing has been abandoned by the campaign? If not, is standards@talk.thewb.com still the right address to send emails to the WB in support of BOP? Furthermore, does anyone have the email addresses for the rest of the names and networks on the campaign target list if we are still in fact emailing on behalf of the campaign? One more thing, I read in a past thread something about a "free comic book day" on May 3rd, I believe. I was wondering how that works. Can I just go down to my neighborhood, comic store and just ask for the free Batman comic and get it without having to buy something else? There isn't some catch to this? I want to thank all of you for your replies to my questions ahead of time. And, I want to say loud and proud that I am a BOPPER. Also that, I am still in this campaign with the rest of you to the very end. In my heart, I fully believe that one day we will bring Birds of Prey back onto our television screens with all-new episodes. I have never been a part of anything like this which is why this is all so very special to me. Thanks again everybody.

Hi...as far as I know, standards@talk.thewb.com is still a good email address. We do not have email addresses for any of the executives. We have always been told that written communication in the form of snail mail letters is seen as much more effective than are emails. Phone calls are also more effective.
Glad to hear that you are still in the campaign!

Regarding the Emails...
My opinion, is I'd stick with the "Snail Mail" as with Email it's possible they (The WB) may have filters going on that may just delete your Email before it get's read...
Regarding the Free Comic Book Day...
You can get some info on that at www.freecomicbookday.com (http://www.freecomicbookday.com/)

I just called the WB audience feedback line, and the box is full again. Hmmm, I wonder what group of irate fans are calling in and filling it up with messages in support of their favorite show that has been cancelled? I am definitely going to try to get through again later. Also, I will continue on both the snail mail and email fronts just in case they both get looked at by someone at the WB. Thanks again BOPPERS!!! Bring Back The Birds!!!

The WB thinks we're gonna go away. I think that's funny.

I don't think the WB particularly cares on way or the other. I just think that's the way they are.

The WB can't ignore its viewers forever.
The Sci-Fi Channel can't ... Fox can't ... and The WB is no exception.
Take heart ... we've already made them look like idiots! :D
The key is to get in their face ... and stay there. We have to keep rising up like a bad penny. :)

E-mails are too easily deleted, snail mail and phone calls are MUCH more difficult to ignore.
As to making them look like idiots, they hardly needed any help from us, we merely pointed out the obvious guys.
