i read in the spoilers for the show that some "al hawke" will try to kill bc 1. so will they start introducing some oliver queen children? and will the green archer guy himself show up? and if so, will he be his usual crotchety left wing self (maybe the frank miller marxist)? the more comic book shows that come on, the more i want to see my old favorites in cameos, or at least mentioned. now i know a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle, but i just can't imagine bc without ga crashing in and out of her life carelessly.

I would love to see Ollie show up. Especially a young, brash, cocky, way too sure of himself version. Or what would also be cool is if Ollie's kid Connor showed up! If they're gonna play Dinah as 'the daughter of Black Canary' then we should see Green Arrow's son in there!

Well only comic book fans would know of green arrow/black canarys relationship.It would be interesting to see a brash/hotshot teenage guy who was part of the archery club or something come into dinahs life.Since the producers are in the know about the comics perhaps they will do it as an injoke for comic fans.I would not mind seeing it happen.

On the subject of Dinah's paternity (which "Sins of the Mother" is silent on) there's been quite a bit of debate over on another BoP messageboard. Some of the suspects for sperm donor are:

*Oliver Queen, Green Arrow?
*Bruce Wayne, Batman??
*Ra's al-Ghul???
*Ray Terrill, The Ray?!?!

I'll start from the bottom with my thoroughly unscientific analysis. Since I know nothing at all about The Ray, I'll leave him be. Ra's al-Ghul was involved with Black Canary in the comic book, but my main beef with him is that Dinah certainly doesn't look half-Egyptian (Ra's al-Ghul *was* from Egypt, wasn't he? Or someplace similar? Or was that just the cartoon? Please, DC freaks, have mercy on this Marvel Zombie!). In fact, our Blonde Bird looks like Hitler's Aryan wet dream, which for me squashs the Ra's al-Ghul idea flat.

Batman is up next, but aside from the fact that Dinah and Helena look nothing alike, I just very much doubt the writers and producers would rob Huntress of her title as Batman's daughter. So Bruce is out. That leaves Oliver Queen, who aside from his proven procreative abilities (doesn't he have something like twenty or so children?) also conviniently resembles Dinah.

So I hereby nominate Green Arrow (with a nod to The Ray as a distant possibility) as Dinah's daddy. Therefore, she and Connor are half-siblings, and any relationship between them would be incestuous, and that's icky along with being illegal.

Next question: Are Connor Hawke and Al Hawke related?
