I've never heard of either being from a comic, but I don't pretend to know them all.

When I read the description for the ep it made me think of Deathstroke though.

I think they changed the name because Nightstrike was too similar to Nightwing--I see that as a good thing. At first it looked like Nightstrike was a reworked Nightwing and now it's clear it's an entirely different character. Oh and there is no comic character by that name (Dark or Nightstrike) that I know of. This is original with the series.

Im kinda disappointed on them changing the character name. I was really hoping on a character similar to NightWing to make an appearance on the show. Guess we just have to wait and see on what type of role this Darkstrike character will have in BoP.

I don't think they changed the name, but the internet got it wrong. Otherwise it would mean they would have to refilm the whole episode, so I just think it was an internet mispell.

Actually I think it was taken from a script prior to filming 'cause I read of it sometime back. And because I'd rather see the real Nightwing than a version (especially since they've mentioned Bludhaven and Dick Grayson) I'm glad it's worked out that way. Also, from what I understand Darkstrike might not be an entirely nice guy.

Yeah I heard darkstrike Might have like a split-personality thing. Lol correct me if im wrong!

He didn't change it, the WB did. There never was a Nightstrike in the show's continuity.
