In the wb cartoon Static Shock they have had batman, then the whole JLA from the cartoonnetwork's JLA, and next sat will have superman. So here is my question, Is static not from a diferent comic book company than DC?

Yes they are but the are both owned by Warner Brothers.

DC recently bought out Warp Graphics and will be printing ELFQUEST again .. with Richard and Wendy Pini working as consultants.

I'm not sure who published the book as I never read it, but yes he did look somewhat different than the cartoon.

DC's not the only comic company that had shows on the WB. Remember X-Men Evolution?

Yeah .. I just picked up Mutants Rising on DVD yesterday I was really surprised when you take into consideration that DC which is owned by WB and Marvel are rival companies.

From what I understand it's just friendly competition but yeah that's true. They are competing but it's nothing like the Monday Night Wars lol.

LOL .. Freindly competition ?? Marvel has the WROST track record with thier creative staff in the business ... for example:

Stan Lee who made that company is currently suing Marvel for royalties owed him from the Spiderman film ... he also had to sue to receive creative credits on X-Men, Daredevil and Hulk ... without Stan there wouldn't be half the Superheros we have today. Stan recently did an Elseworlds series for DC called "What if Stan Lee had Created" in whih Stan revamped DC's top charactors such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Shazam, Green Lantern and the JLA. Marvel has never lived that down and still holds it against him to this day.

John Byrne refuses to ever work for Marvel again under any circumstances ... several years ago Byrne and Marvel had a severe falling out ... Marvel wooed him back by giving him card blanch on a new series X-Men Hidden Years. Without warning or reason Marvel axed the series ... and it was a great series and a top 10 seller too.

All the artist that work for Marvel have to give up the copyrights to all charactors that they create: for example Frank Miller's Elektra (did you notice they didn't give him creative credits on the Daredevil film) and John Byrne's Alpha Flight ... this is the reason why Image, Dark Horse, Legend and Top Cow were formed to give creators publishing avenues without haveing to give up thier rights to thier creations.

Keep an eye out for Crossgen ... they are the first company to carve a nice little nitch in the market.

As you can tell I'm not a Marvel fan, even though I LOVE the X-men.

I know there have been other comic shows on WB it's just that they've had DC characters on that show.

And all the other things mentioned are very interesting, that is my only comment, for now.
