Hey all you comic book collectors out there!! I heard from my comic book distributor that DC Comics is coming out with a Bird of Pret set based on the comic book series. It has Black Canary,Huntress, and Oracle. It includes the character Oracle in a wheel chair. The set should be out about April - May and costs about $45. :p
Cool. I just found it at

Looks like March 5, 2003.

Thanks for the update. My comic book collector got me two rare to find Huntress figures. He thought it was around April of next year.
I can't wait.
Plus with the comic based on the TV show and other BoP merchandise coming out (t-shirt on main page) I can't wait. Plus the TV guide coming out in December. Man I better stat saving my money! ;)

This can become a very expensive hobby - comics are not just for kids any more!!! I have several back issues of the comicbooks that have the Huntress in it- even duplicate copies. I really like this character.
Its funny because I never read comic books but BoP has sparked my interest. Especially Helena's charter. That's why I am looking forward to the based from TV comic. But I might check out some of the other ones as well.
I just want some BoP merchandise. The T-shirt is looking nice. And a key chain and mug I would not mind as well! ;)

What type of key chain is it?
Oh no I am just hoping they will have a key chain out soon!
Anyone know where we can buy the T-shirt yet?

I can give you a list of comic books that Huntress appeared in. Some of the comics are hard to find but it is a starting place. I am lucky in that my comic book distributor knows to save me anything with the Huntress in it.
That would be great huntressearth2. Thanks! :)

That Black Canary figure has too many points of articulation.

Kea,
It will take me some time to get them together because the books are up in the attic and I am busy this week. I can get you started with a few of them:
Infinity Inc.
Batman verus Predator II (four part series)
Batman Family - just started.Huntress is featured in Part 4. It is an eight part series
Birds of Prey book - ISBN 6194-21711 - cost $17.95. Your local book store can order it. It puts together the first comic book of the series and has the stories with the Huntress in the back of the book.
Huntress comic book - I think there were 13 or 14 issues - will double check. Very hard to find.
to be continued...................

You guys are very welcome!! I know that there is a "secret origins' comic book that tells her origin as Batman and Catwoman's daughter. I'll have to go through my "stash" and see where I put it. You can pick up some of the earth-1 Huntress adventures in the old Justice League of America comics - dating back to the 1980's.
If I see anything else, I will let you know!!!
