That is understanding the changes from COIE.

I just got a graphic Novel call History of the Universe, the Harbringer (or whatever her name is) is continuing the Monitors work of catologing the people of the universe, and the book tells of the new historys. And other changes.

This storyline is the definative POST history of the DC Universe and its used as the basis for the current books in publication today ... though it was somewhat tampered with during Zero Hour .. its still pretty much the blueprint they still use.

Yes but some of those changes have already been changed ... the fact that the pre-crisis Kara was brought into our universe proves that ... in the new universe she never existed .. neither did Huntrerss and countless others .. but now she does .. so all those "changes" are starting to unravel.

When you "alter" something espcially time paradox's you set in motion chains of events that will "unravel" everything that has happened, is happening and possilbly will happen ... which is why I'm saying they are setting it up for another major crossover event.

You want to argue symantics .. go ahead .. the end result will be the same .. they are opening the door to multipal universes again.

Tech they never closed it, at least this is how I feel. In COIE the anti-matter universe was created with the mult-verse, so no multiverse not anti-matter universe. But the anti-matter universe still existed after COIE.

Matter and anti-Matter are two sides of the same coin .. one can't exist without the other ... and just because it still exists down't mean that it does so in the same manner that it did before.

Remember the Crisis completely changed our universe ... so its logical to assume that it did the same for the Anti-Matter Universe ... for all we know since the Monitor technically never existed I highly doubt the Anti-Monitor did either after the rebirth of everything we had known.

Yes but in crissis they explained that the one gaurdians experiments, that others were against, created both the Multi-verse and the anti-matter universe. To stop the universes from being completely destroyed they went back to the big bang and stopped the experiment.

I'm not sure if it "created it" or just gave them access too it ... in any event .. if its still there today ... then the very events that started the COIE in the first place could happen again theoretically.

This is not an Elseworlds tale, as you may have been lead to believe. This is a story of the in-continuity JLA fighting Earth 2's Crime Syndicate. Of course, Earth 2 would be our name for this anti-matter planet, they, as Alexander Luthor says, call our planet Earth 2.

I agree Dray I pulled the book ... its not an Elseworlds ... which just proves my point ... in what I've stated .. the DC universe is starting to become the multiverse again ... there are alternate reailities and dimensions popping up once again which could end up leading to another Crisis and restructuring everything yet again.

I think it was breifly covered in that Earth 2 book .. but I haven't had a chance to re-read it yet.

But I think its not a alternate universe so much as its just an opposite universe ... even though I know they technically sound lke the same thing an alternate isn't always the same a a polar opposite.

I could probably get into the storyline ... but I just can't stand Jim art style ... hence the reason I don't read too many Image books ... its assembly line art ... if it doens't look like Todd MacFarle, Jim Lee or Rob Leifeld its not Image material.

Thats why I prefer DC Marvel and Crossgen ... they encourage artis to have and use different art styles on each book.

Okay earth-2 is explained away as being another dimenson in this universe, while all the parrallal universes were destroyed. Ofcourse there was a different earth-2 that was destroyed in COIE, but that one was a dimenson in a parrallal universe.

While the anti-matter universe was never explained, it was was created when the multi-verse was, and unmade in COIE when everyone went back in time to the big bang and kept the multi-verse from being created. So that should no longer be an anti-matter universe.
