Since they were using a version of Harley and the show was comprised of female heros ... I was hoping that Poison Ivy would have made an appearance ... that and the fact that she is my favorite.

I also kind of wished that at some point in the show Ashley would have donned the Catwoman outift ... as an homage to her Mom ... the thought of her in the head to toe leather of the Catwoman suit is enough to get me back on the hetro side of the fence :D

I'm going to have to agree with Jesse. I would have enjoyed seeing Harley and Ivy team up against the Birds. It would have been an excellent storyline. If only....hey! Fanfic idea!

Talia .. the daughter of Ras would have been a good one too.

I think Penguin would work, too, in keeping with the "birds" theme.

Talia .. the daughter of Ras would have been a good one too. You know, Bruce and Talia had a son together awhile ago, he'd be just about the right age in BoP to be a villain, and Helena would have to take on her half brother.

The story was called "Son of the Demon" and right now the kid would be between 6 to 10 years old in comic book time tops.

Right now. But you're forgetting Birds of Prey takes place seven years in the future.

BoP is also an Elseworlds. There really isn't any proof of what age they are, or if Bruce and Talia even had a son really.

Actually .. no I'm not .. Son of the Demon took place roughly 7 to 8 years ago ... which in comicbook time could be 2 maybe 3 years tops .... add to that the 7 years .. and you get 10.

Even if it were a few more that would still put him in his very early teens ... I'm figuring Huntress to be at least in her mid twenties.

What? What do you mean it "took place" seven years ago but in "comic time" it's 3 years ago? It was made in 1987, a little bit after the Crisis. If I'm not mistaken, the Crisis was about "3 years ago" as of 1994's Zero Hour, and what with the whole Y2K/No Man's Land/Luthor election storylines moving in real time, I'd say everything's been going by the real world date for like two or three years now, so that make it about 11 years right there, added to the fact that BoP doesn't take place "7 years from now" but "7 years later" after Batman leaves Gotham, I'd say he's in at least his mid twenties.

Your right ... it was 1987, I had to look it up to make sure ... I only picked it up about 7 or 8 years ago and as its a stand alone story, so I never gave it a second thought ... my bad.

But while references may be made ... its one of the "unspoken rules of comicbook writing (which personally drives me CRAZY) timelines don't flow at the same rate as "real time" .. if that were the case .. Batmans first appearance was in Detective Comics # 27 which was published in 1939 so he would be 64 today roughly .. and yes I know the DC Universe have been remade and redone time and again ... but every origin issue tells the story of the Wayne family leaving a theater in which "The Mask of Zorro" was playing ... that would make it at least 1940 as per Zorro movie cronology

http://www.zorro.com/et_mvie.htm

While I understand it may have been a revival of some sort ... in every issue retelling his origin the cars, clothing and buildings are drown in the age of the 40' or 50's .. so that would still make Bruce Batman in his late 40's or early 50's ... in present day which simply wouldn't be possible ...mid to late 30's sure maybe even early 40's but not anything beyond that.

Only one name, Okay maybe two, CAIN.

The other would be Ra's Al Ghul, but I have an idea he will soon be in superman.

Ras was heavily featured in the first storyarc of Legion .. so we know he contiunes to be a plague even beyond the 30th century.

If it does then it changes everything that will happen in the Legion time frame ... which might include the Legion ever having been formed in the first place ... thats the basis for time paradox storys ... you change the course of the past .. the future changes along with it .. its inevitable ... which is why time travel has always been such a tricky subject in comics and sci-fi in general.

they have already show other universes, even though the multi-verse was destroyed, so when something in time changes it could be creating another universe.

Also the changes could have already affected Legionand it cannot be affected be the others, unless they are involved.

No that was the reason for COIE in the first place ... to eliminate all this alternate realilties, timelines and alternate dimensions.

The Legion timeline is in OUR future not an alternate ... anything that happens now expecially a time paradox will effect them later .. you have to be VERY careful about what your doing when publishing stories at differnt points in time because everything that happens in the past will effect the future .... for example .. Ras was featured in a recent Legion story so he is still alive in the future ... if you kill him now that story couldn't have taken place .. thats why most time travel stories and all alternate reality stories are segragated to Elseworlds titles ... to keep the current DC universe organized.

The fact that all these little pockets universes are starting to crop up is testimony that what happened in COIE is starting to unravel which could mean another such crisis is coming up.
