I think that we are going to leave them off for now. The board loads much quicker without the signatures and we have been saving a ton of bandwidth without them.

Hopefully, the lack of signatures will not detract from anyone's enjoyment of the Forum.

And I do agree that enjoy beeing here without them, but to be honest...I miss it a little ..... (I hope Im allowed to that thought... ;))

We have to pay a monthly charge and although the signatures are great, there aren't any donations to help cover the cost of the forum so to keep costs from running over, the signatures are turned off. Bandwidth keeps running over which means they like to charge more.

One way you can help is by clicking on the paypal button on the main webpage and helping out. This forum isn't cheap and it is amazing. A dollar or two from everyone would help support this site and keep it going for a long time :)

I do understand why its turned off, I do..To run a forum as you ppl do is great fo us fans, I do appriciate it ...and about the siggys, I wil lsurvive without them ;)

(And I will consider about the payment...)

Hee hee...this board is great even without the signatures..Personally, I like it better with them off because I have dial-up so it already takes a long time for stuff to load on my comp..without them...well...Dark doesn't need to wait nearly as long..

That is another reason why they were taken off - so the site loads faster for those who must suffer with the primitive invention of dial up.

my computer is DSL equipped and everything, so i don't really care about loading time, but i personally think that the signatures are VERY distracting - especially when people put 3 banners in them. I just want to hear what people have to say and if you want to have a signature - type it each time, but make it short so that the bandwidth isn't completely overrun. (e.g. our friend: The Vipress - "~V~")
