Personally, I think that its going to be quite ugly. It will be a shock to Bruce, when he finds out that he has a daughter. On top of that, you know that being face to face with her father will bring up all the negative emotions Helena's had for years (anger, hurt, sadness, resentment).

I think the only way Helena can get passed these feelings, is if she comes face to face with her father, and makes peace with him. That is why they HAVE to bring Bruce Wayne to the show sometime in the future. They shouldn't do it now for obvious reasons. But, I think they should do it in season four, five, or around the series finale.

She's going to have to eventually forgive him, if she's going to ever have true happiness. On top of that, I think that Bruce owes his daughter an explanation for why he left, though he doesn't know that she is his daugher, right now.

As an audience, we also want some lose ends to be filled, such as:

1) How did the Joker find out about the identities of Batgirl and Catwoman

2) The full reason why Bruce Wayne/Batman left New Gotham, and do it in a way that doesn't make him a coward, or ruins his character. Give a reason that the audience as a whole, can sympathise with.

There needs to be closure where all of this is concerned, and I really hope we get it, in the latter part of the series.

I hope that Helena will forgive her father, and try to get to know him. She has a lot in common with him and is like him, in more ways than one. Remember that Helena saw her mother get killed in a brutal way, just like Bruce saw both his mother and father (Helena's grandparents) get brutally murdered, when he was a kid.

I wonder what kind of reaction she would have, I mean if she would fight with him or just shout, or talk about it...I guess not knowing her character so much yet its hard to work out how she would react.

I agree that they shouldn't do it in the immediate future, I mean if you bring "batman" to the show then he may end up hogging the limelight, plus its difficult to bring in such a big character for one episode and have a plausible reason for him to go off again.

Yup, the audience mainly want to know why Bruce left, I mean we all have our speculations which make a lot of sense but its nice to know for sure.

I think Helena and Bruce working together would be a great team, but they have a lot of issues to work through. Thats part of whats spurring Helena on though I think, in the fight against evil so if they resolve it too soon it may change the show a lot.

My question has Helena already met Bruce or not? Because the 2nd ep to me seemed as if she already had met him but he would not help her with finding the person who killed her mother. Or was I the only one who got that impression?

I don't think so. It was said that she learned about her father at the same time she moved in with Barbara.

Besides, does anyone know why Helena dislikes her father so much? I hope they address this more, and I also hope that she will accept him more.

It seems that Helena refuses to accept that she has a lot in common with her father. If Helena knew about her father losing his parents (Helena's grandparents) in a similar fashion she lost her mother, I don't think she would be as angry towards him. Maybe she will have a better understanding why he left, and will be able to forgive him.

Helena is going to have to accept Bruce as her father and forgive him, if she's ever going to have happiness. Having all that anger isn't going to help at all. It seems that the curse Bruce has, has been inflicted onto his daughter.
