Anyone think Dinah needs a more active role?

I know Huntress is the star and I love her (that was almost a given though), but Dinah was a surprise. I actually liked her from the begining. She is suppose to be the "sidekick" character, not the no-kick character, but she's not involved really. After throwing a bird-a-rang in the second ep, we haven't seen her practicing anything at all. No low-level assignments, like the dockyards in the pilot. Barbara isn't using her for anything that we've seen, even something simple. The character shouldn't be just there. I always liked Dinah, but it seems like she's dropping into the back drop. They did a little bit with her in 3 birds, but mostly she's just been around.

Maybe Sins of the Mother will have her involved more, but up to this point she seems kind of just there.

Some exploration of her powers would be nice. It's all very well having psychic abilities but she's barely used them at all :( Still, Sins of the Mothers.... oooh.....the possibilities.

Considering the fact that the show is just starting... and I'm avoiding spoilers, I won't whinge too much about her being mostly a background character. For now.
I would like to see her actually get to do something other than be cutely clueless. I have high hopes for Dinah, and hope the powers that be do as well.

Im glad that she is starting to get a handle on her telekinesis, once it gets stronger, she will be kinda like Prue from Charmed.

She's kind of Prue and Pheobe from charmed, I was joking that she has Pheobe's abilities and Prue's, so that means she gets Pipers next :)

Dinah rules!! She's learning to kick some serious butt. I hope they deal with this with a bit of realisim though, don't have her jump from no fighting skills to superfighting skills. She's proably had enough training to beat up a random common thug or two, maybe a little more if she's fighting side by side with Huntress (please let that happen soon) but let her build up to more impressive skills.

Like Huntress isn't a brat -- most of the time. I prefer a bad attitude to whinning. She had a bit of a cocky look to her when she beat up that guy, I can certanly see her getting a little arrogant then needing to ge brought back down to earth when she gets her butt kicked by someone with more skills. It will be good for the character, she's always had a little naughty streak to her anyway (lying, stealing the car, cutting class).

I find that Dinah is refreashingly real in that she actually acts and sounds like a 16 year old not a 23 year old like most tv teens.
sometimes she is whiney some times she is emotional and sometimes she is peppy.
we need to see more of her and HER powers. not just her tring to fight like helena

I suspect that the writers will let Dinah fight more often. I can't imagine why they wouldn't.

I'm just enjoying watching the development. Learning about her powers, learning how to fight. Maturing from the girl we saw in the pilot to what we see now to what could be in the future.

I still have yet to see anyone in the movies or on TV that actually resembles a teenager. Sure, some of them look it (like Rachel Skarsten), but you can't judge a book by its cover.

well, she's closer then most so far. for this genre
and not just because she's played by one.
and well not all teenagers are the same
but most aren't as mature (mentally and physically) as the ones portrayed by the media
