Ashley hurt?

So, that subject heading got your attention, huh? ;)

I was looking through the pictures on WireImage (bored at work again) and I noticed that in some of them, Ashley is wearing a cast over her left wrist and thumb. Check out the pictures at the William Morris Agency and Details Magazine Party on January 21, 2003 and the Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival on January 22 if you need to see what I’m talking about.

Does anyone know what happened? Curiosity gets the better of me again. I was just wondering, since it happened during January apparently, if maybe it was a filming accident of something. Anybody know?

There was a thread posted on this ages ago... Ashley said something like it was a snowboarding accident but she was also joking around in the article so who knows. And the link below was still under debate. I don't think they were a couple.

Sighs. Snowboarding...how boring. I was hoping for something exciting like a wire-work accident, stunt fight gone wrong, or Ashley and Dina having an off-screen fist fight! LOL

And by the way, I really did try to find the answer in another thread before I posted. Really, I did! :D I just wasn't around when that thread was posted.

she could have carpal tunnel syndrome in her wrist, it's an ongoing thing repetitive motion can cause it to hurt pretty bad, maybe some of the motion she might do with her hands during shooting (ex. any of the stunt work she actually did for fight scenes in any movies she's working on or bop stuff she had done if any) I have it in both wrists and believe me it hurts like hell. so that might be what it is

I know I have it and it does hurt like hell. You can have surgery but it can and usually does come back and the scars, thanks but no thanks, it looks like you slit your wrists!
