Does DC offer a subscription to their comic books specifically Birds of Prey. I like going to the comic book store but seem to miss a few issue here and there because I don't have the chance to go. So is there a way for me to get BoP comics in the mail by subscription

I believe you have to contact a certain comic store to get a subscription, not DC.

You can also order online @ DCComics.com (http://www.dccomics.com/about/subscriptions.html)

Apollo YES DC does offer subscription services .... here is the direct link for the service:
http://dccomics.com/about/subscriptions.html
Keep in mind that any subscription will only cover the specific book you subscribe to .... so in the event of any crossover stories you will have to make the effort to get the book or books involved if you want to get the whole story.
Most comicbook stores offer subscriptions to their regular customers ... and before anyone jumps in ... no you don't have to buy a ton of books each month ... I've seen several customers at Tate's that only get 1 or 2 books a month, just make sure that you tell them what your schedule in picking up the books will be ... they figure that as long as your coming in your likely to look around and buy something else ... weather you do or not, its up to you.

I never knew that DC Comics offered comics subscriptions! Now I can get comics on a regular basis! I'll be even more of a comic book geek now!

I just think $20-30 for a year's worth of comics is way too expensive...Especially when you're buying more than five titles...That's enough money to buy me 500MBs of webspace with 50MGs of bandwidth or ever one of these vB boards...

DP ... if you purchase tyour comics from a comics shop and you buy several titles .. most shops will give you a percentage off on new books ... for example I get 30 % off cover price becuse I buy so many titles per month.
Each person prioritieses value in different ways ... I would rather give up my internet access or cable before I ever give up any of my books.

LOL I haven't had any money or means to pick up any comics in the past six months (except for the Murderer TPB, which was a gift) si I *need* my internet connection in order to figure out what the hell's going on in the 'books, LOL.

I prefer not to get the subscriptions because you only get the normal monthly, tri-monthly, or however long it comes out. While at the store you can get that, mine I get cheap (about the same rate as a subscription), and special like elseworlds, crossovers (like the recent Green Lantern/Green Arrow crossover), graphic novels, and what-not. I am not saying getting the subscriptions are bad, I am saying I prefer the store I go to.
You know I think I am going to take this advice and get a subscription to Bop. Because I went to the comic book store today and they didn't have #56 or the Bop secret files. And for some reason the sales guy in there is never really helpful at all.

God ... it SUCKS that the comics stores in your guy's areas are so cruddy ... I think I would go POSTAL if mine were like that.

I don't even have a comic shop in my area. The nearest one is like 4 towns away.

Well I e-mailed them and asked about getting a subsrption for Birds of Prey for $21. They did not say anything about S&H.
They did however say If you ordered now (July) you would start with the november issue arriving late
september.
Just in case anyone else was thinking of getting a subscription. Hope that helps.
