HEY, I saw a page in one of those WIZARD magazines and it had all the Women from DC and marvel going at it. I think its suposed to be a upcoming mini- series. It looked like one but i really dont know. Did any of u see that page or hear about it? If so, whats it supposed to be? A comic, a mini series, or just something they'd wish happen, or what?????? IT'S called DC/Marvel- Last women standing.
It looks great. I sure hope its a comic. It had girls like Wonderwomen vs Hulk women, Batgirl 2 vs Black panther, Starfire vs somebody, Hulk girl vs someone, Catwomen vs Rouge & Raven vs Phinox
It also had Black Canary vs Electra & Huntress vs Mstiek ( from X-men.)
If someone knows about this and knows its true PLEASE tell me here so I wont have to go all the way to the comicbook store.

BC ... No its not a Comic ... thats a regular monthly feature in Wizard .. its called "Last Man Standing" .. it basically put one or a group of charactors against one another to see who would win a conflict .. then you are prompted to write in if you agree or disagree and why.

Raven vs. Phoenix? Canary vs. Elektra? Huntress vs. Mystique?
Don't they *ever* match people up with people like them?
Raven vs. Magik. Canary vs. Psylocke. Huntress vs. Electra. Wonder Woman vs. She-Hulk. That makes more sense...

Batgirl 2 vs Black panther
Batgirl 2? Isn't that Helena Bertinelli?
Jesse321

No ... its Cassandra Cain .. Huntress never "officially" had the title.

I'm pretty sure Cassandra Cain is Batgirl 3. I don't believe Azrael was ever officially known as Batman (he called himself AzBats), but everyone says Dick Grayson, besides being Nightwing, is Batman 3. So why isn't Cassandra Cain Batgirl 3? The only people that don't count in the numbering system are the villains that masquerade as the people (otherwise Dick would be Batman 52).

Here we go again .... Huntress only used a variation of the costume ... she never ONCE used the name or even IMPLIED that she wanted it or would use it ... and she only used the costume because Batman wasn't around during a portion of No Man's Land and she needed it to instill the fear that her costume couldn't ... when it was found out that Huntress was using the costume .. Batman took it away and with Barbara's blessing gave it to Cassandra ... so Huntress's little stint as the MAKESHIFT BG replacement doesn't officially count as anything.
Whatever Azreal did or didn't do has no relevance on Batgirl ... and let me remind you that Batman "officially" requested that he take his place until he was to (if ever at the time) reclaim it.
Also DC lists Cassandra as Batgirl 2 not 3 ... and there has never been an official Batman 2 or Batgirl 3 listing anywhere I can find except on an "UNOFFICIAL" DC board which has no affiliation with DC what so ever.

DAMN!!!!!!:fume::fume::fume::fume::fume:
I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THAT FIGHT BETWEEN THOSE SEXY SUPER HEROS. But thanks anyway Jesse.
FrostBite, Jesse is right about only having one batman and batgirl 2 and all that. I have the ultimate Batman guide book to prove it.
Dark Phoenix, Raven is a telikanetic and a telapath, so her against phoenix would have been a perfect match up.
You said Huntress vs Electra????........ ummm, I dont think so. Remember there talking about the comic book version not the tv version. Huntress is becoming good and acrabatic in the comics now but I dont think she would fare well with Electra.
Oh, and in my first post I put Wonder Women vs Hulk Women. I actully ment She Hulk not Hulk Women. That was my mistake.

DC probably considers Cassandra Batgirl 2 instead of 3 because Betty Kane , the original Batgirl 1, no longer exsists in the Post-Crisis DCU.

BC .. Raven .. at least in the books ... isn't either a telepath or a telekenetic ... she is a teleporter, an empath, a healer and a mystic.

Firstly, she was Bat-Girl, not Batgirl. Secondly, if Bette was considered in the numbering, then I believe Cassandra would be Batgirl 4. Thirdly, Bette does exist in the Post-Crisis DCU, as Flamebird.

Bette was neither Bat-girl or Batgirl in post crisis so she wouldn't count for anything .... in any event .... I'm not going to get suckered into another of these ASSININE arguements of yours and turn this thread into another war zone because of you ... she's Batgirl 3 or 4 or 19 or 27 or 798,310 or whatever number you want to give her for all I care ... if your life is only centered on such trival crap you must be a very lonely person.
So there you win are you happy now ?

If you expect me to feel sorry for you ... sorry pal I don't ... everyone here has thier own set of problems ... maybe if you quit being such a tight-a** and lighten up ... that would change.
Now lets go back on topic.

I thought Raven was part demon. That's why I put her against Magik.
And as for Huntress vs. Elektra, I couldn't think of any other Marvel Chic like Huntress...

Raven is 1/2 deamon on her fathers side .. her father was the demon Trigon ... and being that Magik and Raven are both teleporters thats a great match ... but remember under Azar's teaching Raven was also a pacifist.

Hey, I know you all heard of the Batman cartoon movie coming out this fall right? Batman: Mystery of the Batwomen. Well who is she? Does she have anything to do with the Batman Universe, or is she just made up for the movie. I cant find her information anywhere in my Batman guide book. Which batgirl do we consider her?

Jesse, on the cartoon network commercial, when cyborg is talking and telling the kids to go to TT. com and play their computer game, he says " this week its Raven. You can use her Telekinetic Powers to defeat the the bad guy." And I did play the game and she WAS useing some telekiniesis.

BC .. the telekenisis is something made only for the cartoon .. in the books Raven has never shown that power, which is just reason 5086 that I don't like the cartoon.
No one knows what this Batwoman is all about .. this is something made up for the cartoon only ... if you look at the ad closely .. you see that the logo she has is the same as the one used on Batman Beyond .. so my guess is she might just be from the future.

I thought there was a Batwoman...One from Pre-crisis ages. I swear I read her bio...
Here she is: Kathy Kane (http://www.rasalghul.co.uk/database/characters_details.asp?id=123).
Probably unrelated to the show, though...
Jesse321

DP ... KK was pre-crisis ... not that that has anything to do with the show since the COIE was never really involved in the show .. it might also be a variation of her charactor or it could the the return of the Phantasim ... we will all have to just wait and see.
Frostbite

Kathy Kane existed Post-Crisis, too, it's just that she wasn't Batwoman.
Jesse321
07-07-2003, 05:38 PM
Same difference ... she wasn't Batwoman in post crisis ... but it still might a be a version of her since the show never dealt with COIE storyline.

Batman Mystery of Batwoman comes to DVD/VHS October something????? ( i'll get back to you on that) this fall.
Oh, and robin and Batgirl are in this one. YAY!!!!!!!! I like the batman series with those two and Nightwing more then just Batman by himself. Thats why I'm not too fond of the new Batman series coming out next year.

It will ber interesting to see who this Batwoman is ... I still think its going to be someone from the future ... maybe Terry's freind (whos name I can't remember right now, the black girl) who I always thought would have made a KICK ASS new Batgirl for the Batman Beyond series !!

OHHHH, MAYBE. Y'KNOW IF YOU LOOK AT BATWOMAN'S LIPS ON THE BATMAN: MOBW COVER AND TERRY'S FRIENDS LIPS, THEY LOOK EXACLY ALIKE!!!
BUT HOW WOULD THEY PULL THAT OFF. THIS MEANS THEY WOULD HAVE TO BRING THE BATMAN BEYOND SERIES BACK AND EXPLAIN. AND PLUS BRUCE DID'NT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT HER IN THE SERIES.

Umm... that's because most of the characters are drawn in the same style.

I have the cover of the movie and the mask completely covers the face in a simlair fashion as the current Batgirls so you can't really tell .. it would make for an interesting time paradox story though.
