IS Kathy Kane Batwoman??

I used to think that she was taken out of continuity, but in The Ultimate Guide to the Dark Knight, it says:KATHY KANE
When Bruce dreamt of the future, he often found Kathy Kane - once the girl-gangbuster Batwoman - the focus of an idyllic life with the Dark Knight happily married and satisfyingly retired. But neither Bruce and Kathy, nor their masked alter-egos, ever acted upon their mutual attraction. And when the lovely circus owner was killed by the League of Assassins' Bronze Tiger, it was far too late. So....is she still Batwoman in current continuity?

I haven't seen anything with her in POST crisis books, so I would guess not ... but thats not to say that she hasn't been mentioned somewhere and therefore even though there is no storyline with her in it directly .. just the mere mention of her means she may have exisited.

My honest guess would be that since ALOT of the kinks in post crisis continuity still remain unresolved ... this would be one of those kinks.

Was she mentioned as Batwoman or as Kathy Kane?

I have that mini-series and I don't remember Batwoman benig mentioned ... so I would guess Kathy Kane.
