Well, i picked up #1 a few days ago, and they mentioned that The original Wonder Girl died, when did that happen?????

Oic, I didn't get that one. I got Young Justice League #55, that's when i heard that they were making a Teen Titans book.

Well what Graduation day did was bascially was to set up the passing of the mantles of the two teams.

Young Justice has now become the Teen Titans in which Impulse will soon take Wally's former identity of Kid Flash, and the Titans have become the Outsiders.

I thought Bart was just going to wear the Kid Flash costume, and not actually be Kid Flash, because it's not like he's Wally's sidekick or anything.

Didn't you read the first issue?

The whole point of Bart becoming Kid Flash is because Wally doens't think he has what it takes to eventually become the Flash.

He never said anything about Bart being Kid Flash, just that he's not cut out to be a hero, I think. Wally's just a big boy scout. I think.

Here is EXACTLY what Wally said when he was talking with Jay (the first Flash) about Donna's death:

"I don't think he really understood what happened. He still sees life as a video game. When I was Kid Flash I took it seriously, and now I've grown into my role as THE Flash ... IMPULSE never will."

if you analyse these sentences and break it down you will realize whats coming:

If Bart remains Impulse .. he will never grow into the type of hero it will take to inherit the mantle of THE Flash. He needs to dump Impulse and take the next step into growing up .. that step would be to take on the mantle of Kid Flash which is why he changes his costume ... in order to prove to Wally that he has was it takes or at least is trying so that one day he can become the Flash.

If he were going to just remain Impulse why bother changing the costume ?

I agree that its a more creative name .. but the Teen Titans have always had a Wonder Girl and a Kid Flash .. so I think that they are trying to keep up that tradition.
