:welcome:
After searching various forums and reading their Rules and Guidelines, all boards seem to share the same concerns. Please read and follow the rules below. If you are unsure of something, please contact myself, MUZBNUTS or LisaM for clarification, via private messaging.
With many new members coming in every day, a rule thread will help from us having to always repeat the instructions and will help new and old members to understand what is and isn't welcome on Birds Of Prey Online. Some of the comments below are also frequently asked questions.

1. Submit meaningful posts. No single word or single image posts are permitted. These are considered spam, or a means of increasing one's post count and will result in a first warning (think of baseball... three strikes, you're out) Posts that only say things like "That was cool" are meaningless. Why was it cool? Share your opinion, not a random comment.
2. No spamming. Spam can be defined as any post that is pointless and has nothing to do with the topic at hand. As well, no personal conversations on the board. Please use the Private Messaging feature.
3. No duplicate threads. Before creating a new thread, always check if one already exists. Quite frequently, duplicate threads are created. This makes things confusing and increases our bandwidth unnecessarily.
4. Use appropriate language. You may not use any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable language. Swearing is allowed in context, but not when directed at another member. Use good judgement.
5. Zero tolerance to violence. Posting any violent comments will result in immediate banning. This is a safe place for members to come. If you are having any problems with a member, please contact the forum leaders above and we will handle the situation.
6. Be respectful. This is not limited to just members and forum leaders. No personal attacks to anyone, including about celebrities. They are people too and deserve an element of respect.

7. Disagree with respect. If you do not like a movie, for example, posts such as "It sucks" is not acceptable. This is not a place to insult, it's a place to discuss. Present your posts with maturity, explain why you didn't like it and respect the fact that others do. We may not all agree but if we state our case responsibly, we can respect a differing opinion.
8. Posts that we feel violate any of the board rules will be removed without notice.
9. RPG's (role playing games) are allowed but each post must be a minimum of one paragraph in length. If this rule is not followed, we will not be able to support rpg's on this board.
10. Read the forum headings and post your thread in the appropriate section. Do not post the same thing in numerous sections. We will see it in the one, don't worry.
11. There are no custom avatars, signatures or chat rooms available on this board.
12. Please check out the main website for this board if you are looking for show information as most questions are posted there. As well, the website is excellent!

13. Please make use of other board features such as the FAQ and search options.
14. Do not double post (2 posts in a row). Make use of the Edit button if you need to add or edit anything that you just posted if no one has posted after you.
15. If you quote someone's post, please copy only a small portion, not their entire post. If you want to comment to the person that JUST posted, do not use the quote feature. It is common sense that you are responding to them.
16. Empty your PM Mailbox. Please don't remind people to do this in threads, be responsible and stick your limit. Click here (http://www.birdsofpreyonline.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3208) for further information as to how.
17. Click here for the Unofficial BOP Font, (http://www.birdsofpreyonline.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3765) created by one member.
18. Thread Titles. To save confusion and to encourage people to participate in your thread, please make sure that your thread titles are relevant to what you are posting.

Another frequent question some of our members have is if the show has been cancelled. Yes, sadly, it has been, but please check out our Campaign Page (http://www.birdsofpreyonline.com/campaign) to see what we are doing to get it back.
As well, you will find various threads discussing this topic.

This forum is pleased to let you know that we have a few special guests.
Ian Abercrombie, Alfred, on Birds Of Prey, is one of our favorite members who logs in under the name themaninblack. Please find his question and answer threads in the New Gotham Gazette section of the board. He's a great guy and we love to have him here :)

And although he is not a member, Hans Tobeason, Co-Executive Producer/Writer, has been answering fan questions and LisaM has been posting them in the New Gotham Gazette section as well. We appreciate him taking the time to answer all of our questions. Check them out, they are a fascinating read.
