What are catwoman's metahuman powers? I don't remember her having any other being a superb martial artist.

Umm... not sure. Agile, strong, enhanced senses perhaps? Something generic like that probably.

She has great flexability. You have to if you are going to lick yourself clean.

Have you ever tried to lick your elbow?

catwoman power was her nine lifes

So if Catwoman has no real powers, why does her daughter's eyes change when she is about to strike? Any one who takes martial arts will eventually get flexible. You have to stretch every day so you can 'lick your elbow'!!

Oh I've been streching!

But my elbow just doesn't seem to get any closer...

I know that it takes LOTS of practice!!! Maybe if we were born with cat DNA it would help!! :)

If she has nine lives, why is she dead then? This is getting too complicated for me!!;)

She did use 8 lives in the Batman Movie. So maybe they're going on that, so when she was stabbed, she lost all nine lives.

Or they just wanted her dead so hey just killed her, no matter what.

Other than that, she has no meta-human powers!!

She's pretty good at making a cat suit out of nothing...

She may have the mysterious tailoring meta human powers, sought by many wannabe superheros across the land.

Obviously, she died eight other times. I remember a few from the sixties Batman show. She fell off a building into the ocean and drowned. That's eight. She fell into a deep crevase inside a cave. That's seven. I'm sure she died a few times in the comics. She died once in the Gotham Girls web cartoon. Nine lives really isn't that much.

It is if you have only one life to live!! :D

Well I assumed that it went along with the story from the movie Batman Returns, mainly because Catwoman's outfit was the same as the one in the movie and the way Helena fights is similar to Catwoman's style in the movie (with all the backflips, etc). In the movie she had nine lives, but used eight of them up claiming that she'd 'save the one for next christmas'.

This is how she lost her eight lives

1. Max pushed her out the window of his office.
2. Batman pushed her off the roof of a building and she fell into the truck full of sand.
3. The penguin made her fall from his propellor umbrella into the greenhouse of roses.
4. Max shot her.
5. Max shot her. 'Four, five... still alive!'
6. Max shot her.
7. Max shot her. 'Six, seven... all good girls go to heaven!'
8. She was electrocuted while killing Max.
9. She was stabbed on the street. (BoP)

Her metahuman powers are pretty much the same as Helena's.

Agility, strength, speed, feline instinct, nine lives.

Also, in one scene of the movie she is shown climbing up the side of a building, somewhat like Huntress.

It can't follow the movie continuity, because if the Joker died in the first movie, how did he kill Batgirl?

This does get complicated doesn't it?

The BoP-verse is a combination of the Batman/BoP comics, Animated Batman, and the Batman Movie-verse, but is set in its own universe that is separate from those other universes. Because of this, I've made the assumption that the BoP-verse Catwoman's powers are a combination of the Animated universe Catwoman's powers and the Movie-Verse Catwoman's powers, which would mean that she possessed the following abilities:
Cat-like agility and reflexes
Night-vision
Acute hearing
The ability to communicate with and understand cats

There's nothing to indicate that BoP Catwoman had more than one life, so I haven't included that aspect of the Movie-Verse Catwoman's powers in my list.

The animated Catwoman didn't have any powers.

Yeah she did. She could talk to and understand cats. I didn't think that she had powers either, but somebody pointed out how she was able to talk to and communicate with cats, and I had to concede the point.

Actually they haven't mentioned anything specific about what meta-human abilities Catwoman may have had, at least not to my knowledge. They've referenced Batman Returns and presumably her 9-lives there indicating she was meta-human but beyond that it's still unclear. The "cat powers" agility, speed etc. that Helena seems to possess seem a good bet. Perhaps Helena inherited the cat powers and that's the reason the first thing she said upon learning Dinah was Black Canary was the Dinah must have the Canary Cry in addition to her other abilities. Maybe Selina had a latent meta gene that didn't manifest itself fully until Helena inherited it.
