found a bargain!!!

today got up early and went around a car boot sale (kinda like a flee market) anyway wasnt much there my mum bought a big mirror for £1 bargain!

then my brother took me to a stall and showed me a box under the table filled with comic books

so i went threw them alot of ones i aint heard off, found a few batman ones then i found a treasure!



The Huntress comic! so i quickly bought it for 30p what a bargain! its the huntress number 1 and the date on the frount is april 1989 so quite old, not that old but still, but for 30p a bargain

havent read it yet iall read it tonight i think

i never knew the huntress had her own comic book i just thought she was in the birds of prey comics

LR .. that is the 1st issue of the very short lived Huntress Series from the late 1990's and early 2000 ... you can get the whole series of them on E-Bay for about 3 to 5 pounds .. so 30p is really good.

Flea Markets and garage sales are GREAT places for comic book shoppers to find bargins as the sellers often don't know what they have and how much they are actually worth.

While this is a bit off topic ... the Clinton's shouldn't be stuck with all the legal bills ... while I do agree taht they should pay for everything involving the Lewinski fiasco ... I certainly don't think they should be stuck with the 6 million plus in legal bills for the White Water investigations. The Goverment wasn't able to nail them for CRAP on that and if I were Bill and Hillary I wouldn't give up fighting that one !!

First off if you read the post ... I'm not defending the Clinton's, I'm defending the fact that the Goverment wasn't able to prove anything and yet they are still stuck with the legal bills when they shouldn't have to be, the Clinton's are just the individuals in the senario, so get your facts straight !!

Even if it were Bush <<<shudder>>> in that situation, I would be forced dispite my HUGE amount of dislike and distrust for the man to say the exact same thing ... because whats right is right and should apply to EVERYONE !!

And let me point out something else ... while Clinton did lie about his involvement with Lewinski ... at least his lie hasn't cost anyone THIER LIVES ... can you say the same about Bush ?

Cool Bargains..I go to Heros & Fanasties..As soon as my dad gives me my allowance I'm goin to By some BOP and Elektra comic books. I might even take a look at the Catwoman Series [really old I've seen'em] Maybe even pick up some others like Wonder Woman and Hawk Girl [NOt a personal fav but still she kicks butt] But I will defentily grab a Black Canary CB![I can't spell]
