Deceived!: A.M.S. is a fake!

I guess that it is true: "when something smells too good to be true, it probably is not true". In this case, my "sniff detector" was just not as good as it should have been.

I am sorry to have to tell everyone that we were deceived by A.M.S., who had pretended to be Ashley Scott. Prior to posting the "Revealing A.M.S." thread, we believed that we had an iron-clad, rock-solid confirmation of her true identity. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out that way.

As a result, we are deleting all of her posts as well as all of the other posts in both the "Revealing A.M.S." and "Welcome" threads.

It is a real shame that a troll had to go to so much trouble to deceive the wonderful BoP fans who post here on a regular basis.

The only "good" thing about her appearance is that it seemed to energize everyone and to remind us of why we like BoP so much. Let's try to keep that energy ...rather than the lousy feeling of being deceived.

Sorry that everyone is disappointed, none more than myself. But Lisa is right, it did seem to re-energize everyone (hopefully into writing more fan fiction... hint ;))

On the positive note, we have Ian here as a member, themaninblack, who is a terrific guy and fear not, it really is him :) Who needs Ashley when we have Ian! :D (okay, it would have been a nice thought but what can ya do?)

And we also have Hans answering all of our questions! Let's not forget that! So keep posting and stay positive. :)

Just to reiterate so there is no doubts, Ian, themaninblack, is 100% for real. MUZBNUTS, MiS-CH'vuS and I all sat down for lunch with him in LA at the end of May so trust me when I say, it's him on the boards. So don't let this troll AMS make you doubt in Ian.

He's a wonderful guy, very sweet and absolutley hilarious. Like I said, who needs AMS when we have Ian as a member! :)

I agree with everyone Since I joined this site, everyone has been great! We will band together and move forward. Ian is here!!! and Hans answering the questions. That is one of the greatest things about this site, second only to the great people I can now call friends... Never forget that everyone!!!

I joined this site because I saw a great bunch of people having a wonderful time talking and becoming the best of friends, isn't that what really matters! Yes we must still band together and fight! Ironically I'm not that disappointed. (Maybe its the weather.)
We have great people here. Ian and Hans are wonderful. And to echo what srfrgrl said this board has great people from everywhere who enjoy Bop with as much as I do and the fight keeps on going. :hug:

It would be nice to have the cast from the show here but I agree with everyone else - the members here are great and I completely love my time here.

I've made some great friends online, found myself a great girlfriend in MiS-CH'vuS who is such an incredible person and was able to play matchmaker between 2 members who have hit if off really great. I've been lucky enough to have lunch with Ian thanks to this forum, have a support group of people who are always there for each other, great fan fiction and something to look forward to reading online at night.

What else can I ask for? I got friends, a girlfriend and a job as an admin. THIS FORUM ROCKS! I knew everyone would come together in this. I think all of these members are fantastic! :clap:

i must agree with SGH-- we were all fooled... but i think it's just b/c we wanted so badly to have her here with us... although, we still don't know for sure that ashley (or dina, or rachel, or mia, or shemar) ISN'T a member of the boards and simply chooses to remain anonymous. Ian did it for a while, so you just never know. :)

yes, we got fooled, but hey! that's life-- sometimes you get fooled. but it matters not that you got fooled, but what you learned from the experience. and what we all learned is that there's still even the tiniest glimmer of hope within us all that this is not the end of bop. i'm sure now that we all also learned to be a bit more skeptical (which can be unfortunate), but that's nothing more than part of growing up.

I was alerted that the scripts that were posted were not the real shooting scripts. Once I was told that, we backtracked and I asked for re-confirmation of the original confirmation. We were successful in getting AMS to admit that she was a fake or as she put it " a clone".

Okay everyone, I think we have done what this thread was here to accomplish - to give us a place to vent and band together, like we always do. I'm proud of all our members.

This person HAS been banned and I advise ALL of you to NOT talk to this person at all. NOT AT ALL. A few of us understand and know a bit more about her and please, have ZERO contact with her.

Now I think it's time we moved on. I'm closing this thread and now we are going to talk about other things, happy things and about the show we love and the actors we care about. This forum is going to stay a safe place for all of you and we will be a lot more careful from this experience.

Lisa and I are watching out for all of ya so take my advice, let's put this person out of our minds and talk about the real Ashley, the one that really deserves our attention :) Thanks everyone! You all rock!
