Hi. I've come up with a much more detailed version of my BoP timeline:
2002 timeline
1953 - Respected Gotham doctor Thomas Wayne and his wife Martha give birth to a son, whom they name Bruce.
1961 - Eight-year-old Bruce and his parents are on their way back from the theater when they are accosted by a petty thug, who demands their money. When Thomas Wayne puts up a struggle, the thug shoots him and then guns down Martha as well.
1965 - Gotham Police officer Richard Drake and his wife give birth to a daughter, whom they name Carolyn.
1969 - Gotham PD Lieutenant James W. Gordon and his wife Barbara give birth to a daughter, whom they name Barbara.
1970 - 17-year-old Bruce leaves Gotham to travel the world.
1978 - Bruce, now 25, returns to Gotham after 8 years abroad, traveling the world and learning several forms of martial arts. Bent on avenging the deaths of his parents, he takes to fighting crime. Knowing that he must make criminals fear him if he is to be successful, he takes upon himself the mantle of Batman, the Dark Knight Detective. Not long after taking up the mantle of Batman, Bruce forms an unlikely alliance with Gotham PD Commissioner James W. Gordon and faces his first major challenge when he comes up against a sadistic madman known as the Joker. It is later discovered that the Joker was once Jack Napier, the same thug who killed Bruce's parents back in 1961. After many epic battles, Bruce is finally able to apprehend the Joker, and he is incarcerated in Arkham Asylum.
1979 - Bruce Wayne meets and falls in love with Selena Kyle, a charismatic and beautiful businesswoman. However, Selena holds a secret: she lives a double life as the metahuman criminal seductress Catwoman, who has followed in the Joker's footsteps and established herself as the queen of Gotham's criminal underworld. Bruce and Selena's tumultuous love affair eventually results in Selena becoming pregnant, a fact she hides from Bruce by leaving Gotham and traveling to Paris, where she gives birth to her child, a baby girl she names Helena.
1980 - While attending a performance by the world-reknowned Haly's Circus, Bruce watches in horror as two of the performers, trapeze artists John and Mary Grayson, plummet to their deaths after their harnesses break. Their deaths are later discovered to be an act of sabotage, prompting Bruce to become involved in the investigation as Batman. After apprehending Tony Zucco, the man responsible for the Graysons' deaths, Bruce takes in their nine-year-old son Dick as his ward. Seven months after coming to live in Wayne Manor, Dick is exploring the grounds when he discovers the Batcave and learns Bruce's secret. Seeing the youngster as a kindred spirit of sorts, Bruce reluctantly allows Dick to join him in fighting crime as the high-flying Robin.
1981 - While responding to reports of a jewel heist, Bruce encounters 16-year-old Carolyn Drake, the daughter of Gotham PD officer Richard Drake, who has taken to fighting crime as the Black Canary, using an unusual, but effective, way of fighting crime (she befriends criminals by committing petty crimes and then secretly turns those criminals into the police, using her father as a contact). Bruce later offers young Carolyn the chance to partner with him in fighting crime, an offer that she eagerly accepts.
1984 - Carolyn meets, falls in love with, and marries a young man named Larry Lance, but does not divulge to him her secret life as Black Canary.
1985 - 16-year-old Barbara Gordon creates the identity of Batgirl in an attempt to stop a corrupt police officer from framing her father, Commissioner James Gordon. After successfully clearing her father's name, Barbara uses her Batgirl identity to begin fighting crime in emulation of her hero, Batman. Batman eventually discovers her true identity and offers to train her, an offer that she readily accepts. 14-year-old Dick Grayson, also known as Robin, changes his identity to Nightwing and leaves Gotham to join the Teen Titans, a group of young superheroes based out of New York City. To replace him, Bruce begins training a young man named Jason Todd to take up the mantle of Robin.
1986 - Jason Todd, the new Robin, is killed by the Joker. Carolyn infiltrates the infamous Hawke crime family and, in a return to her earliest crime-fighting tactics, takes them down from within. Not long after this, Carolyn becomes pregnant and takes a break from fighting crime. She eventually gives birth to a baby girl, whom she and Larry name Dinah. Not long after Dinah's birth, however, Larry is killed when he is caught in the path of a radiation bomb unleashed by a criminal hired by the Joker.
1992 - Carolyn comes home one evening and discovers a bomb underneath Dinah's bed. Realizing that her life as the Black Canary is putting her daughter in danger, Carolyn leaves Dinah with the Redmond family and departs Gotham. The Redmonds eventually move away from Gotham, taking Dinah with them.
1993 - Selena and Helena, now in her teens, return to Gotham from Paris. Selena rebuilds her friendship with Bruce, but does not tell him that Helena is his daughter.
1995 - The Joker goes after two of the more important people in Bruce's life, Selena and Barbara. He hires a thug to stab Selena, who dies in Helena's arms, and then goes after Barbara himself, shooting her through the spine. At the same time, 9-year-old Dinah has a dream in which she witnesses the brutal crimes. Devastated by the tragedies, a guilt-ridden Bruce hangs up the mantle of Batman and leaves Gotham. After rebuilding her life, a wheelchair-bound Barbara takes Helena in.
1999 - A huge earthquake strikes Gotham and destroys most of the town. It is later rebuilt and renamed New Gotham.
2002 - Barbara, now 33 and known as Oracle, and Helena, now 23 and known as the Huntress, fight crime in New Gotham. They face their first major challenge when they come face to face with a man named Larry Ketterly, who attempts to rebuild the Joker's former empire. At the same time, Dinah, now 16, arrives in New Gotham and is taken in by Barbara after she discovers the girl's extraordinary meta-human powers. Carolyn, now retired, comes back to Gotham in search of Dinah. She is targeted by Al Hawke, the last remaining son of the Hawke crime family, who has sworn revenge against her. He and his thugs kidnap her and are going to kill her when Dinah and Helena show up. Dinah rescues her mother, but Hawke opens fire on them, riddling their surroundings with bullets and wounding Dinah. Carolyn tells Helena to get Dinah to safety while she keeps Hawke busy, but she is caught in an explosion before she can escape the building.
