Birds of Prey graphic novel vol.1

Just got my hands on a copy of the first collection of BoP comics (I already had "Old Friends, New Enemies") and it's absolutely amazing!
I found it kinda hard to adjust to Helena Bertinelli rather than Helena Kyle but there are alot of similarities between the two.
What do you guys that have read it think of it?

Sorry, I mean the first graphic novel that shows has the initial issues of the ongoing series and also some of the one-shots that came before it. It's the one that has Oracle on her computer on the cover with Huntress and Black Canary displayed on the screens behind her.
It doesn't have a specific name it's just "Birds of Prey: Volume 1" and it was followed by "Birds of Prey: Volume 2 Old Friends, New Enemies"

Okay .. the one with Huntress in it is one of the Mini Series that came before the actual series was given the green flag .. if I'm not mistaken Catwoman mad an appearance in that storyline too back while she was still in her Purple costume.

Yeah she did, it was a damn good storyline too. The only thing I would like to see if Huntress being a more permanent member of the team... like in the show.

I've got a copy of the first issue. And I've read the subsequent issues. I recommend it to all fans.

ITs a great read while Chuck Dixon was writing the book and Greg Land's art isn't hard to look at either .. I think he drew the BEST Black Canary ever ... if you like Greg's art .. I would HIGHLY recommend picking up Sojourn published by Crossgen .. its EXECELLENT !!

Speaking of graphic novels have you seen they are realizing the Huntress and Nightwing story line in (January 2004)! Saw it on Amazon! :)
And BATGIRL: YEAR ONE looks like its coming out November 12th! Two more I have to add to my ever growing list!

Cool .. thats a REALLY good storyline, you should enjoy it and the art by Greg Land and Bill Sienkiewicz made it all the better !!

I collected the original seires (you know me I will read ANYTHING with the Huntress in it) and even though my opinion is more than likely considered biased on the subject .. it was very good !!
