Here are my questions.

So Black Canary knew Selena had a kid? I mean Black Canary only heard Barbara say Helena's first name and suddenly Black Canary knew that Helena was the daughter of Catwoman?

Why does everyone (on the show) always say Catwoman instead of Selena?

Do you think Helena knew Selena was a thief before she was killed?

Do you think Helena lived in Paris until she was a teen or do you think they moved around?

Do you think Selena came back to New Gotham to tell Bruce about Helena or not?

What ever happened to no two meta humans have the same powers. Then why does Helena have cat like powers just like her mom? So then yes Dinah could have the Canary cry but then why does she have telepathy?

Do you think Harley knows that Bruce used to be batman and that Selena was catwoman? So does that mean she might know Helena is up to something?

Why is it called New Gotham? What happened to just Gotham city?

When has Reese seen Helena's eyes change?

Also Barbara has an apartment below the clocktower right?

Do you think we are ever going to see and episode where Helena gets shot? I mean she's had a knife to her chest and had a few guns pointed at her already. But hey maybe she does have 9 lives. (Bad joke I know)

Also who is Barbara's mother? Or Dinah's father for that matter?

I think that's all for now!

Answers:

1. Since the episode was fast paced...When the two saw Caroline and Barbara maybe before that Barbara already told her that she's mentoring Selena's daughter and it just wasn't shown.

2. Same as some heroes call Superman as Superman and some call him Kal...whatever suits them...

3. Probably not...since if they did follow the comics...Selena quit before giving birth to Helena...She probably knew after her death...

4. They probably moved around...again if they followed the comics...Selena became and adventurer after she quit being catwoman...

5. We can never know that for sure 'coz it isn't mention...In comics Helena Wayne lived with both her parents...

6. Actually Babs said it's rare for two metas to have the same powers...

7. Probably, but she doesn't know that Helena is the Huntress yet...She'll try to exploit her being the daughter of catwoman in Primal Scream...

8. In comics, Gotham City was destroyed by a 7 earthquake...New Gotham is a part of Gotham City that President Lex Luthor rebuilded...others say that New Gotham is like New Jersey as New York is to Gotham City...We can never really tell...but I think to aim here is to create a new city that has dismissed the realness of Batman hence only a few believe in the legend...

9. Probably a lot of times...Prey for the hunter most likely...

10. Yup

11. We never know...

12. Dina Meyer said on a interview that she'll love to do an episode with her dad, commisoner Gordon so I think the former Comish is her father and his wife her mother...Dinah's on the other still remains a mystery...although in comics her father is just a normal human...gotta check it again to be sure...

Hope this helps...

Thanks. That really helps. You see I have never read the comics but that might all change now! ;)

In the comics, Barbara Gordon is actually the Commissioner's niece. His wife's name was Barbara also. The Commissioner and his wife adopted Barbara after her parents were killed - I can't remember the reason. The origin of Batgirl was that she was on her way to a costume party dressed as Batgirl and saved Bruce Wayne's life. She then became part of the Batman 'family' later on.

Hey but now they're trying to make a storyline in the comics wherein Babs discovers that the comish is really her biological father...

The whole Barbara as Commissioner Gordon's adopted daughter/niece had to be tacked on when they started over the DCU after the Crisis. For some reason the original post-crisis story was that Commissioner Gordon had a son instead of a daughter (okay, some even earlier stories mentioned a son pre-Crisis but it's confusing enough as it is) because, I suspect, at the time they wanted to completely obliterate the Barbara Gordon character as if she had never existed. I think it was too big a gaffe to be blamed on editorial oversight. In a later story-- after minds were changed -- the Gordons adopted Barbara when her parents were killed. Now they want to set things back to where they were biologically. Needlessly convoluted, no?

Just so you know the Robin/Batgirl romance ended a long time ago when Robin left and became Night Wing and now Batgirl is Oracle. They became two completely different people. Also Robin/Night Wing moved on with his life. He built his own crimefighting organization called Titians and I think he's married with kids. This is what I gathered from the comics anyway.

In the BOP comic book, they reunited and may have become an an item. Nightwing had a one night stand with Huntress. Barbara Gordon found out about this and was not happy.

You may be referring the Alex Ross' Kingdom Come series where Nightwing did marry. Nightwing is still part of the Titans but it is a more grown up group - like Justice League of America.

I think Barbara should go out with that African-American guy she's married to on Batman Beyond.
