I finally got to read it after hearing sooooo much about it. It was soooooo great. The best JLA comic i ever read.
*until i read jla vs avengers that is*
But it had me clueless at the end. I know the JLA took him back at some point but how many copies after tower of bable did it take for bats to come back? Why was he called back? What was bats reaction when they called him back?
I just cant believe Superman, Aquaman, & WW voted him out!!! They've been with him from the very begining. They go WAY back!!! That was just so surpising.
After u answer my questions above, what did u think of bats actions? would you have voted him out, or do you think he did the right thing?

Bats did the right thing ... someone had to be able to stop them if the League went rouge. His mistake was in not telling them, the League is a team by not telling them Bats put himself outside fo the team, longevity be damned he was WRONG !! If he would have told them they would have agreed with him that they needed the safeguards but he took away that choice and took it upon himself.

If he told them they wouldn't be safeguards they would be battle and engage tactics and wouldn't do anything.
I remember the kriptonite ring that supes gave to batman and I can say the bats did only one mistake and that was letting the Demon get to his counter measures. It's like Xavier's protocols(X-men) you may have them for safeguard but only you must know and the others can't know even that that exists or it would be giving anyone the others aquilles heels.
I haven't read babel till the end since here they come in pairs and only next mounth i will read the rest I'm in the bats runs to alert the jla and Ras has his laught.
But it was very predicteble from the beggining that what was being used were counter measures but I thought at first that it had been a Superman plan and not a bat trading mark, it's very basic a direct, the bats usually uses darker and far more complicated plans. IMO

Wather ... Batman didn't have to tel them what they were, simply that they existed .. its a matter or trust in a team setting.

Fine, Coz. They didn't call him back. Superman secretly went to Batman when he saw that the team was suffering from internal strife over his expulsion. The two talked about it and realized the best thing to do was to regain everybody's trust. The only way to do that was to finally share their secret identities - everybody's identities. So the JLA met at the Batcave and learned that Batman was Bruce Wayne, Superman was Clark Kent, and so on. Now they trust each other.

Why should I have to vote wether he leaves or stays? He would have been put back eventually. He's the f__ing Batman!

Batman's been kicked out of the JLA like three or four times. I believe that was the entire reason he started The Outsiders.
