It's actually a bit more complex then that. Harley Quinn is her name as you can now tell, she's got quite the complex history with the Clown Prince of Pain, the Joker, himself or at least that's the way the animated series played off the relationship and that's the way the comics are playing it now.

She is Joker's partner and lover in Crime and the two now how to make Batman's life a living nightmare. Best example: BATMAN BEYOND: THE RETURN OF THE JOKER -- Edited or Un-edited.

I was just adding a little more depth to the character. Its not like most people really know who she is, the show has only touched on a small amount with maybe one or two lines.

I just felt like some people could use some of the sources. It helps in the long run.

I had no idea who Dinah Lance was until I picked up BIRDS OF PREY recently and started watching the show. Now I know...and I didn't determine if that history of Harley was in fact existent in the BIRDS universe on the show. Only time will tell. Here's to hoping we see more of that before the middle of the season.
