View Full Version : Be honest, how do you think Huntress will handle seeing her dad?

Personally, I think its going to be quite ugly, when that day comes. There's going to be a lot of tension, and all of those repressed feelings Helena has had for so long (anger, hurt, betrayal, sadness) will definately rise to the surface.

Bruce is going to have a lot of explaining to do. Realistically, it will take a long time for father and daughter to repair all those hurt feelings.

Yet, I think that a traegity will probably bring Helena and her father closer. I bet you the minute Batman and Huntress start to get close again, something horrible will happen to Bruce, and Helena will lose another parent, before she REALLY got to know him.

And how will Bruce react when he finds out he has a daugther?

See I'm still confused on this.
In Helena's talk about revenge it sounded like Bruce told her no and that maybe they had met once.
But I could also see Helena waiting for revenge that never came and never meeting Bruce.
I think Bruce knows he has a kid now am I right?

You got to remember, when Helena told that wacko shrink wananbe Harley Helena mention that he didn't know he had a kid.

Until after Selena's death. There's still a chance that Helena and Bruce did meet and that he refused her desire for vengence.

However, because of what Babs said in the pilot, I think that they have never met. It would probably have to be Barbara playing mediator between the two of them.

That would make sence, Barbara being a mediator. I would love to see them meet, itd be great. Im really starting to like Helena as a character, she has so much pain in her but she manages to survive without lapsing into vengence like her mother...

or at least not yet.

I don't think Bruce would have left if he knew he had a daugther. Then again how sure are we that he left New Gotham?

Thats a good point. All we know is that Batman is "missing". For all we know he could be anywhere in New Gotham. Personally, I think Huntress will eventually accet her father. What I see happening is that Batman will come back at the end of season 1 or 2. Then at the beginning of the next season, you will see the healing process begin. I cant wait to see Batman. He's the whole reason I even began watching the show! I wonder who they will get to play him? During the rumors of the Bats/Supes movie, we were told that Christan Bale was going to play Batman. I can't wait for that!!!!!

None of this will ever happen if it gets the chop - Save the birds of prey

Bring back The Bat. I was thinking since they brought Mark Hamill to play the voice of the Joker in the show and on the animated series why not bring Kevin Conroy who plays Bats on the Animated Show. He has the right age and for those BoP fans over 30 he was Bart Fallmon on Dinasty witch may i point Dinasty was at the bottom of the ratings during their first season and that show lasted eight seasons.

Im still seeing Bruce as a timeless, ageless character. Just please, for the love of GOD, do not get Clooney or Keaton to play Bruce. They are old hacks who couldnt hold a candle to Mr. Kilmer!

Kilmer? are you kidding me? he is the worst Batman of them all. Well anyway that doesn't matter anymore aparently the dumb network gave the axe to BoP. WB really sucks.

Keaton was the *only* Batman, other than Adam West that is :P

Is it likely that someone else will take the Birds on? Here's hoping.

Actually, Bob Kane said that Kilmer was the best Batman...
