We have been told he was found around 1EST at the home of current WWE superstar Steven Richards. The two were very good friends and had traveled with each when Crash was involved with WWE.
We have one unconfirmed report that Crash may have choked on his own vomit. He was just 34 years old.

The following statement comes directly from WWE.com:
"World Wrestling Entertainment is saddened by the loss of Michael Lockwood, known professionally as Crash Holly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Michael's friends and family."

We are trying to get more details and will pass them along all night and during the day tomorrow. We are truly saddened by this and are really at a loss for words. Rest in Peace Crash (Michael), you'll be missed.

I know it is intirely possable but it just doens't seem likely,If Steven Richards was their he could have been able to do something unless the reason is he died from choking on his own vomit because he was passed out and prolly sick and Richards made the mistake of laying him on his back so he wouldn't be able to throw up.

I wasn't aware that Crash's friend was there when it happened. He was cool. It's a sad thing. The only bright side to it I guess is that he didn't die from stupid wrestling stunts like Owen Hart or from steroids like alot of the classic wrestlers did a while back. Not much of a bright side I know, but........
