View Full Version : Please folks, let's not gripe at or bicker with each other

We're all fans of the show, aren't we and in that regard, we have common ground to come together and enjoy something that's good and discuss and speculate about aspects of Birds Of Prey.

We shouldn't be exchanging critical words at and about each other, especially when everybody here has every good reason in the world to voice how they feel about issues concerning the fate of the show and I know everybody is on edge because we're all waiting and wondering but we all need to focus our collective attention and our frustration on The WB. As I've stated before, they are at fault for causing the situation we're all faced with right now.

The network and its creative staff related to the show have taken what is a great concept and failed to make the most of its marketing potential, and as a result, have not attracted enough viewers to build up a stable foundation of solid viewership and have systematically caused ratings to go into a progressive slide. We all have the right to express our views, opinions and our feelings regarding what we like about the show but what we really should be doing is not bickering at each other. We should gripe and complain at the WB. They are the cause of our dilemma.

I agree. The WB did do a lousy job of promoting this episode. I think that putting it behind Dawson's Creek was just as bad.

Well, not only that but The WB has done a lousy job all around with the entire show in terms of promotion. It seems like they are doing things to sabotage their own show and they don't seem to realize it.

Fox did the same thing with The Lone Gunmen, an absolutely wonderful show. They put it on Friday night (the graveyard of viewing nights), and then promptly pre-empted it constantly with baseball games, pushing it back to 12 or 1 AM.

Then they cancelled it because no one was watching it! One wonders why these networks even bother if they're determined to kill the shows before they even start.

I apologise for any bad feelings I may have caused. But, I'm a stark realist, and I have a history and a knowledge of the studio we're dealing with. So, forgive me if I am sometimes harsh about this situation, but I call a spade a spade, and I am honest with my thoughts and feelings.

I agree with laterx1 with his above statements.

Hey, Frank, it's perfectly alright. As long as you, me and everyone else directs their thoughts and views about the show's current situation to The WB, then all our frustration will not be used in vain. We all have the potential and the voice to make the network realize just how much the show can be great.

By the way, call me Larry. I'm really starting to hate the username I picked to join this forum.

I completely agree. There are too many boards around which disolve into bickering and hatred. Let's keep this one free of that!
