Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:

* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse

* 7 have been arrested for fraud

* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks

* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

* 3 have done time for -assault

* 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting

* 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

* 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year................

Can you guess which organization this is?

It's the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group of idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

My thoughts exactly. I had someone check it out. And it's all true. It's absolutly astounding. Like my dad always says:

"Politicians.............they're all crooked!"

It doesn't suprise me one bit! I think they should clean house of all those idiots. I don't know about you all but if this doesn't scream abuse of power I don't know what does! I didn't see one of these people end up in jail!

Mmm, hey guys, don't feel so bad. Here we have more less the same kind of politics. Here the point is that we have those kind of politics because we voted for them.

It doesn't suprise me one bit, which is why I have ALWAYS supported TERM LIMITS on all goverment positions !!! You have these career politians in there that have been screwing things up forever !!!

Hell it makes no sense that the President can only be elected to 2 terms and these twits can stay there for a lifetime ... DUH whats wrong with that picture ??

I think people get in a comfort zone and just keep them in because they know what to expect. I also believe that the lazy people who don't vote also contribute to this thinking eventually someone will do it for them. Guess again! Get off your duffs and vote these morons out, you can do it, I never miss an election and will crawl there if I have to, to make sure my two cents count!

I also agree with Jesse two terms and out, that way they can't cause too much damage, haven't these idiots done enough!

It doesn't suprise me at all, but it's still shocking. Especially the fact that these are the people making our laws. Ur gonna tell meI can't drink and drive when ur about to go to jail for doing the same thing?I don't think so.
