I know we have the first ep and Lady Shiva next week. Then Slick the next.
But are we at least going to get to see Nature of the Beast or Gladiatrix or not? Because I really want to see Gladiatrix. It sounds so good!

I would like to know that myself. I read the spoilers for Gladiatrix and I will be seriously pissed if we don't get to see that episode because it sounds so cool. They bought 13 episodes so they need to give every single one of those episodes a chance before they cancel this show. If it still is doing bad then okay at least they gave it a chance. But to cancel it now would be crazy. Lets hope they give it another chance and let them finish out there 13 episodes and maybe they will come to there senses by then and give us a full season.

If they have a 13 episode order I would say they will run all 13 episodes and repeats to take the show through to mid season so that the new show could pick up from there...

I would say that was possible if they had filmed all 13 episodes already but if I'm not mistaken I heard that when the news of possible cancellation came through they were in the middle of filming 'Nature of the Beast' with 'Gladiatrix' set to film next. What's to say that they will film the rest of the episodes or even finish filming 'Nature of the Beast' now? Plus we are getting ready to go into the holiday rerun period so they will most likely be showing reruns of most the shows through December. I just hope that they give it a chance and let them finish out there 13 episode order then decide based on those ratings. Birds of Prey has had it hard up against all those other big network shows and with some of them gone now maybe it'll finally get its time to shine with the rest of its episodes. Keep the hope alive!

Most hour dramas air nine to ten episodes of their season before the new year, and then the rest after the holidays. BoP was filming NoTB and are probably wrapping it up now, but even with a 13-episode order, if the show continues to lose viewers (it dropped again) they may just pull it and air re-runs of comedies like Reba or dramas like Gilmore Girls which will guarantee ratings.

Apparently Gilmore Girls does not guarentee ratings on any other night but it's own. Last year it didn't do too well prior to Charmed, and it's Beginnings on Sunday are nothing to brag about.

Here's hoping they remember what was on opposite Split.

Yeah I know...

I wish I remembered that the Victoria's Secret thing was on; I would've watched that on the commercial breaks.

Last year, GG was on opposite Friends and Survivor, which is why its ratings were so poor when it aired prior to Charmed. GG Beginnings are all reruns so it isn't fair to compare rerun episodes to new shows.

My point wasn't really about whether GG is promising hits on other nights; it's been giving solid enough-ratings to keep it on the air and my real point is that if they are rapidly losing out by airing BoP they wouldn't hesitate to air something such as GG or Reba which has already proven strong with audiences for over a season each (plus more on GG).

Here's what occurred to me, and I know it's a long-shot, but --- is it possible that WB put the show in reruns during sweeps (NEVER a good sign) to re-edit previous episodes and those already finished but not yet shown? The press stories say the pilot episode that'll be rerun before 'Lady Shiva' will be ten minutes shorter than when it ran the first time. That suggests MAJOR reworking, doesn't it? And the reports of a 'behind-the-scenes shuffle' in the staff could also mean reworked episodes we've already seen. Is it possible --- let's not go to 'likely' yet --- that someone has made a decision to START OVER? Just a thought. Given what's before us, is it THAT far out of line?

I hope they're starting over. If so, yay for them and for us.

As everyone knows I'm a very positive person that believes that there is still hope and I don't mean to burst anyones hopes and I could be wrong but let me lay one more possibility out there. It could be that the 10 minutes shorter is just them cutting some of the comercials out. Because when you think about it the pilot had a lot of commercials. I've taped all the episodes and I edit out the commercials and at one point my VCR shut off because the commercial break was so long. So I have a feeling that is where the 10 minutes is going to come from but as I stated before I could be wrong and I hope I am.

I believe we are going to see the remaining eps. Dina herself said that they're filming them now. Reunion sounds very interesting.
