Helena is thrilled when her best friend from high school, Sandra returns to New Gotham, but the Birds are troubled by a series of murders with the unmistakable mark of Batgirl’s nemesis, Lady Shiva. Determined to fight Lady Shiva as an equal, Barbara dusts off her Batgirl costume and experiments with technology that allows her to leave the wheelchair.

Personally, I cannot wait for this ep. I'm pretty confident that it will do well in the Give Oracle More Screen Time Dpt. I think that if the WB promotes it well, we'll get some new viewers interested in seeing Batman or Batgirl. Shiva looks cool.

I finaly get to see some costumes as it should be after all this a part of The Batman legacy.

True. And I love what they did with the Batgirl costume! The stylized gold bat looks sweet.

I hope the episode with Lady Shiva pulls the ratings back up. I heard the show is already cancelled.

Actually, she didn't. She said the WB didn't order any more episodes. So, it ends after episode 13.

She said it HASN'T been picked up for the rest of the 9 eps. Now, if ratings improve, maybe the WB will consider giving us the full season.

I agree with you DizzyOracle. NO ONE can say anything about the outcome of the show. So many things can happen esp. if the ratings go up. The WB may reconsider. That my friends is the ray of hope.

This ep. looks like it will deliver just as well as Sins of the Mother did. I've got all the girls in my dorm to tune in...BOP party anyone?

Well,its been 35 years since anyone saw batgirl on tv(Yvonne Craig played batgirl on Batman series back in the fall of 1967 through out the show's third and final season on ABC.)

Well, it's been about a month or so since we've seen a live action Batgirl on TV, then. Batgirl was in the first episode of Birds of Prey.

I'm excited about tonight!! I've been telling everyone that I know to check it out and watch. But like I said before, maybe with all this hyper about it being canned that more people will check it out just to see what it's all about. But I could be wrong too.
