Everyone knows I'm an optomist and I believe in this show. Yes the WB did cancel it but does that mean we have to give up? There are other mediums and options to explore. There is syndication, the possibility of another network picking it up, or even the possibility of a last minute saving from the WB itself. Lots of shows have been in this spot before and some of them do manage to save themselves. The bad news of a confirmed cancellation came today but there are still options available for those who still want to try and save the show. A big show of support in ratings may still help.

For those that just want to let the show die in peace I say watch it and enjoy every last moment of it. For those who want to keep fighting I say go for it because you never know when your voice may be heard.

I just want to know what others think about this and see where everyone stands. If you want to let it die in peace then say so and if you want to keep fighting then say so. We should use this thread as a way of figuring out where everyone stands and seeing where the fans can go from here. It has been mentioned that this board has been divided at some points in the past few weeks so use this as a thread not to insult others or there love or dislike of the show but as a place to see what we as a united group of fans think.

I want to continue to fight for it, I just sent a letter to the WB maybe it will help some. Though if we could actually contact any of the Birds themselves then that would be great.

We are working on contact with Dina at the moment, hopefully that will be sorted very soon...

If you get in contact with her can you ask her a few things:

1. Are they making a 2 hour series finale?
2. What happened behind the scenes?
3. What can the fans do to help save the show?
4. Are the producers thinking about possible syndicating it?
5. Would the cast return if it is saved?
6. Will we get to see all 13 episodes?

I doubt she will be able to answer all of those questions as cast don't always know as much as we expect them too. I don't think they really know what the current situation is completely.

I know but maybe she's heard something or talked to someone. Good luck getting in contact with her. I hope you do so we can all get an idea of what is going on at the set.

Dina has less impact on the fate of the show than the people who are really 'behind-the-scenes'. Better choices of people to contact would be the executive producers.

Good luck on contacting Dina. You never know, maybe if the cast shows its support with the fans, it might help. Every little bit and all that.

I'm definitely willing to help!

I read that Dina is a computer junkie and she goes online frequently. I'm sure that she's stumbled upon this forum and read some postings. So, if you want to thank her, I suppose you can say so here.
