I was asked to start a thread to post the flyer I made to promote the show so people could find it easier.

You can post it wherever you want, websites, forums, bulletin boards, print them out and put them up at your school, work, or places where lots of people frequent and tend to read advertising. Like on bus stops, subway cars or coffee shops. (Rush hour) I know I'm always bored and read all the signs while waiting for a bus. Maybe it will lure in viewers come Wed. because there isn't as much competition that night.

Keep up the faith and remember, word-of-mouth is extremely important. Get people interested in the program. Who knows what will happen if ratings go up...

I just printed it out! I'll take it to my book group meeting tomorrow! Maybe I can convince a few of them to watch! *hopes*

Thanks again to everyone for the kind comments on the flyer - glad you like it and I hope it works! :)

Too bad it ate all my black ink up.

Just delete the black background on the poster to save your ink ;)

Frostbite, can I give you a new tag line under your name? "Never Gives Up"? "Always Ready To Fight"? "Fights To The Death"? just teasing.... hang in there :)

No, if you get rid of the background, you can't see the white text.

Frostbite, the next one I make will be tailored specifically for you - white background, black text. If I do that, will you pass it out on the corner ;)

The forum has been so encouraging tonight - thank you everyone! The idea for syndication is a possibility and if we keep up with the promotion and raise the ratings, who knows what will happen. Keep fighting!

I just printed out a few. I am going to put some in my neighbors mailboxes lol. and there's a store I always go to and they know me pretty well so I am going pretty soon to ask if it's alright if I post it on their bulletin board and in the window. A LOT of people go to this store so hopefully it'll spread the word.

I was so stingy with the flyers. I gave out like five, then took them back after a few minutes. If I can get one that doesn't use so much black ink, I'll hand one out to everyone.

I want to make another flyer for the show but after reading today's forum updates.... We'll see how tomorrow's ratings go. If they climb, I'll make another flyer.

Frostbite, your posts keep making me laugh, in a good way. If I could mail flyers to you in time, I would just so you could give out more than five ;) How about you go to a copy shop, get photocopies and I'll send you the $5 instead?

Pray for ratings...

It'll be very interesting to see how the ratings fare now that it's official BoP has been cancelled. Will that affect the ratings in any way? And if so, in a good or bad way? Yes, I'm very interested to see the results.

I am interested to see the ratings, too. Has anyone been watching the WB to see the promos? Are they still promoting the show like before or has the number of promos fallen off? One thing which could hurt the ratings tomorrow is Thanksgiving Eve - lots of people will be travelling.

I'm curious about the ratings as well.

That's a good idea about just making copies of the flyer. It's way cheaper and you ink won't go out as quickly.

Didn't think of Thanksgiving, we don't have it here, but you're right LisaM, that could hurt BoPs result.

The WB was pretty heavily promoting tonight during Smallville. I saw at least one promo with every commercial break, but I didn't watch before Smallville began.

I didn't watch Smallville tonight but it's good they were promoting. Glad to hear that.

I don't even think my small town even has a copy shop. But yes, that is a good idea.

You could try your town's library.

goodness I can understand that!! I went to the comic book store only to find an empty lot :(

Checking the library is a good idea Neptunekix. Only bad thing about it is I don't think my library carries comics.

i thought Frostbite wanted to make copies of the BOP night flyer. But I doubt you would find comics at the library. Just get them online.

Making copies of the BOP flyer is exactly what I want to do. I guess Mandy misinterpreted it.

Some of the copiers out here in California can take originals via email, make the copies, then priority mail them out to their customers. Color inkjet cartridge prices are right up there with college textbooks.
