Difficulty Accessing NewGotham.Net

Some people are continuing to have difficulty accessing the Forum by using www.newgotham.net while others have no issues at all. I have asked the hosting company to investigate the problem. In the meantime, if you are having problems, use www.birdsofpreyonline.com/forum to access the Forum. You should not have any difficulty using this URL.

Is that why it says "BirdsofPreyOnline.com" now on my browser instead of "NewGotham.Net"?

UPDATE: Apparently the domain registration for NewGotham. Net has expired, which explains why some people have had difficulty accessing the site using that URL. We do not own that domain.

To alleviate all problems, I have changed the URL on the email message that Forum members receive when they have a Private Message. I have also changed the name on top of the Forum to read BirdsofPreyOnline.com

If you have bookmarked NewGotham.Net, please change your bookmarks to read www.birdsofpreyonline.com/forum

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, so I'll ask here: Some computers won't let me access BOPO either( I try to keep up with tricks while I'm at work). I have noticed on these ones, that it seems to be a 'VBulletin' bias. Has anyone else had a problem with this?

Hmm. I have, a couple times. You need to make sure you put in "http://www.", and that's what works for me.

Or, it could be that you aren't allowed to access bulletin boards at work. ;)

I had this problem at a Kinkos in Philadelphia. It wouldn't let me access the board at all at one of the branches. I think it's because they set up a block so that people can't go to certain sites.

Dray: www.birdsofpreyonline.com/forum is definitely an active domain site which we control. You shouldn't have any trouble accessing it under normal circumstances.

Thaks for the heads up if I ever have to go there for anything. I guess I'll have to go to one of those net cafes if I want to check my messages on certain sites. Like this one ofcourse, I'm not gonna pay to go on one of those sites I know you think I'm a member at.

Thanks, Lisa! But unfortunately Kinko's seems to have a bias towards BOPO. It makes it harder to kill dead time there....I think there's foul play afoot....
