2 Hour Series Finale?

Can anyone confirm that the last BoP ep is to be a two hour movie event?

It is rumored to be and is quite likely to be two hours long yes. No official confirmation of this just yet though.

I'm kind of worried because everything I've been reading says they will show the show through the end of December which means most likely reruns. Will we even get to see the last set of episodes and the series finale? The first 2 weeks of December already seem to be filled up with reruns of BoP. Can anyone shed some hopeful light on this?

Well, when i first read that there was to be a series finale, that the rest of the 13 were to be shown, and that it would run through December, I had understood that they would just show the new eps all the way through, and not show repeats. But apparently they are gonna show repeats, according to recent reports. So I have absolutely no idea whether it's 13 or just through December. It's confusing.

Here's the hopeful part of me again: I'd just as soon NOT have a series finale. I'd rather have it end with the last episode, raise a couple more questions without answers, and quietly slip away. Why? So that if someone has the money and the inclination to pick up the WB fumble and run with it they won't have to 'undo' two hours that supposedly 'change the Birds' lives forever'. Puh-LEEZ.
