They are clown shoes, big stupid fucking clown shoes. i guess so long as they at the least finish the thirteen epsiode order, and finish with a decent two parter. i'll be ok, i won't start sending death threats to the WB offices.

however i really do wish that this show would be picked up by someone else, and given the goddamn chance it bloody deserves.

To anyone who is working for the WB making the decisions, or any of the producers who let them do this, go jump you stupid morons. i realise that it probably wasn't your decision, and i'm sorry, but this is the kind of fiasco that makes me want to not watch TV at all. Why bother if anything that is even vaguely worthwhile is taken off the air. i mean come on, rating a constant fourth or fifth up against massive competition is HUGE, for a science fiction series! cut the budgets if needs be, but why take it away from us? pull your collective heads out of your asses!!!!

i hope that maybe at some point they do some weekly movie of the week kinda things, that would be ok. but shit like the freak of the week lame-o crap that is spewed out in smallville weekly keeps running and a show with even more potential for long term success is canned. obviously they are incapable of seeing past their own noses. don't get me wrong i don't mind smallville, but it can only go so far! there is a finite time limit. birds had forever...

i officially give up. i can't see this show being allowed to go to another network, not with the rights involved, so we say goodbye, and get fucked to anyone who made this show fail.

the darkeness is leaving....in disgust.

i'll still be looking in occasionally, but i am just so dissappointed in the decision. i say boycott the station or right letters to them saying how annoyed you are. it won't save the show but it may make them think twice next time they want to get some fans hopes up... man even the falsh got more than thirteen episodes...lois and clark got a few seasons than that blew chunks of steak! such is life i suppose.

the darkeness is.....

The Flash was a better show, but was hurt by going up against The Cosby Show and then being shifted to various timeslots. But it lasted a full season. Lois & Clark was a good show during the first season, but slid in quality from the 2nd season onwards. What kept it afloat was that it was Superman, and everyone's heard of Superman, there was a inbuilt audience there, even if the show wasn't the best. BoP hasn't got that kind of audience, and because it differed so wildly from the comics, it wasn't even able to capture the comic book niche market.

TheWraith: I agree with you on Louis and Clark, it did loose in quality as the series progressed. The only thing that had it going was the well known Superman movies, comics, and books. Adults grew up with it, and then children got to see it as well. Basically it was probably a family event. But not with Birds of Prey. It was not well known. The only reason I started collecting the comics was because of the fact that I stumbled accross the first issue on accident. I never would have even noticed it if I hadn't been pawing through comics.

After all these years i thought the Jokers name was Jack Napier but i found out the The Joker's name is Jordan Levin. Talk about clowns well the wb is runed by one.

Actually he's more like Grodd :)

We've been referring to him as the talking monkey in charge at wb.com's boards :)

Honestly though, I love animals and just feel bad insulting monkeys :(

It's quite obvious that the WB has no idea what it has on it's hands. If they think a cuple cheese reality show knock offs will give them the ratings there looking for I think they're going to be very disipointed. Reality shows are a dime a dozen, they're every where and most of them suck. Show's like this are rare. Shows like this that are really good are next to impossible to find. No thanks to networks like the WB. So let's fight and hope that
another network will see what Mr. Levan is ignoring. Even Better then saving the show would be seeing it explode on another network leaveing the WB to hate it's self.
