View Full Version : I've Actually Lost Hope In The WB...

Even though they admit they failed it, the WB aren't even trying to get it back for us, revamped and everything. This shows how money-grubbing they are. This is sad because I've actually had a lot of respect for the channel (even though the last time I saw it was in '97, before I moved to the Netherlands), and it was one of my faves. Now they just care about the money.

I, too, have lost confidence in the WB. They asked me to invest time and emotion in this show, and I did, only to find that executives who knew there was a problem --- and what it was --- weren't willing to make the same investment. I'm disappointed in the decision to give up on the show and, frankly, disgusted by the secrecy of the past couple of weeks --- never mind that the suits didn't see fit to tell US what was going on, they didn't even tell the ACTORS.
While I'm thankful that the WB didn't do an ABC number and take the show off the schedule after just two episodes, the treatment of the cast and fans of BoP was sleazy. Everyone deserves better than what we got.
Excuse me, but I think I need a shower to wash all this slime away.

Out of revenge I've decided to boycott the WB11. Well after they finsh airing BOP that is.
To tell you the truth I don't watch many of the shows on WB11. I used to watch Charmed but then Prue die and I lost interest. I thought Prue was the coolest witch out of all of them. 7th Heaven has gotten lame. I don't watch Smallville, Angel, Sabrina, or any of the other crap that's on there. I have to admit that Reba is the only show that's worth watching. But I'm never home on fridays to watch it. Andromeda and Mutant X have gotten stupid. BOP was interesting to me because of the whole Catwoman thing and because I'm a huge Batgirl and Batman fan.
I'll just have to watch Enterprise and channel 7 shows from now on. My only hope now is that producers, writers, or whoever don't screw up with Woder Woman when it comes out on NBC.
I love Wonder Woman. Linda Carter was perfect for that role. But now I hear that former Xena star Lucy Lawless will be playing the part. :D :) :p

Lucy Lawless is just a rumor. Wonder Woman may or may not get filmed.

Thanks for shattering my dreams. :( First BOP is cancelled and now Wonder Woman might not make a come back. What A day I'm having. I'm not coming here anymore. You people are making me depressed.

Xena?Woah, thats an oldie!lol
Oh I hear you. I have lost faith in the WB big time. In fact they have just officially lost my family and I as viewers. We are only going to watch BoP and then its good bye to the WB.
Because it shows me if they have no interest in what the fans have to say then why should I waste my time watching there programming.

I would never stop watching an entire channel just for cancelling a show. If you take that approach, you'll soon run out of channels to watch! Silly.
Well, boycotting has never been a pleasant business. ;) For some, why bother watching a channel for their new shows when they tend to kill them all off way too soon? Why invest in a show that'll be yanked if you like it? It might seem a bit nutty or over-the-top to some, but fans are fickle things. If enough get ticked, things happen.
Doesn't mean I will, but I've thought about it.
*shudders at the thought of the tiny wave of reality programming the WB's gonna be dishing out* Yuck.

I'm also not watching the WB anymore. BoP is the only show I watch on WB. So why am I going to stick around when I don't watch anything there? This just sucks.
And Frank here's the funny part I don't even have cable! ;)
Its just the only shows I do watch are
BBC stuff on channel 9
Alias
CSI
And up until this season Angel (s1-s3 was good).
I don't watch that much TV!
And BoP was really the only show I was watching on the WB so really that's about it. And NBC canceled providence so... bye bye WB and NBC!

The channels are there, alright, but there's nothing on them ... except, of course Christopher Lowell and 'Hunting with Hank'.
