View Full Version : Would this idea have worked better for the show?
I was just working on some fictions for BoP last night and I was tinkering with an idea.
Do you think the series could have explored a lot more if it would have started from the point when Barbara was shot and Helena lost her mother? And along the way comes Dinah. Granted Helena would be 16 and Dinah might have to be about the same age but still.
I mean it could really have explored Barbara training them. It would have really shown teamwork, flashbacks, batman issues, problems they faced. Might that have worked better for the series then 7 years later? Just wondering.

That was a good idea but I wish it could have been started with a great earthquake ripping through Gotham and there is an Arkham prison break then Babs gets shot, Catwoman gets killed by some asylum hoods who want revenge and the Black Canary leaving her daughter Dinah. Then they could have movied on with how BoP girls got started and how Gotham turned into New Gotham.

why not just say "I wish they could have started at No Man's Land". LOL, I agree, but once again, that would have been a MAJOR budget show (more likely film). If you want them though, you can always read the comics.

Well they could have done that and started with a 2 hour TV movie first kinda like how Beverly Hills 90210 was first introduced to the audience.

Also, they were originally going to do it with Batman, but ABC canceled a show in the middle of the season and used Batman as a midseason replacement, and they released the movie in theaters that summer.
