Buying the DVD's without labels for $21 is a great deal considering the time factor involved in making the DVD.
However, keep in mind that this is in no way official and that BOP Online does not endorse the buying of copywrite material. (just had to throw that in to cover our own butts ;) )

I've bought from these peole before and have had LOTS of trouble with them. Is it a good price, yes it is, but the shows they have are very poor quality. If you can hold out and have a comics convention in your area, and MUST have a bootleg copy, I would definately suggest waiting and buying a copy there, most vendors will gladly show you the quality and you can choose if you can live with it.

The set I bought was from a vender at the Wizard Con in Philly. It was originally $60 but the guy gave me a $10 or $15break as I was wearing my Birdsof PreyOnline.com shirt! The DVD set I have gives everything this site shows. Jesse has the right idea. Your better off going to a show and seeing the quality yourself. Judging by the artwork/cover I do remember seeing that one at the Philly show.

For those who can't get to the cons, Ebay is a good source to. I found an excellent copy of Batman: Dead End there, as well as a similar BOP set. The point beng, if your patient, know where to look, and avoid the overpriced swindlers, you can get just about anything.

Hi, for people who have the dvd whats the quality like? Fitting 14 shows plus extras on one dvd is a bit of a task. Are the eipsodes spread over 2 dvd's? Do they have menus, ect?

Mine are VCDs, and on 13 discs (two episodes are on the same disc, with the Unaired Pilot and some extras on the 13th). No menus, they just play. Quality's good for what they are; they're about the same quality as they were when originally broadcast. Until the real deal comes out, it's the best things can get. :)

I'll 'fess. I've got one on DVD. It's on one disk including the unaired pilot and it has a very simple menu. It seems to be the same quality as when I was watching it on tv. It has an occasional station identification in the bottom corner. I got it off of ebay. Ebay cancelled the guy's account in mid-transaction. We had already paid; he emailed to let us know that he was sending it. I don't know who he was. My husband handled it.

Okay, my set came in today. It consits of four DVD's. Three or four eps. per DVD starting off with the unaired pilot. The broadcast version isn't included, but I prefer the unaired one anyway. The quality is pretty good with the pilot, and better with the regular episodes.
The down side? Unlike my Dead End DVD, these had no packaging. They just came in small disk envelopes, but I'm not complaining. I consider it well worth the price. :thumb:

If people continue to make unoffical copies of BoP, the WB will never put it on the shelves. I ask to please stop it!

^ I'm sure Warner is aware of it.
People were bootlegging "Family Guy" before it went legit. It shouldn't be any problem.

Nah... nothing happens, I think if the demand grows, WB would think seriously sell the DVD

Although this thread is old, I felt i HAD to say something. I actually did get the BoP DVD's from that Superheroes-r-us site, and I think the quality is pretty good. No extras. The menus are simple. Basically the picture of Huntress on the left of the menu, and the episodes on the right. 3 discs. i got the labels and covers, and i think they were worth the money. I say buy these. They're easy, and actually pretty good quality.
This guy does have a problem though. He has Lois and Clark, Smallville, and the Flash all up for sale, and has had them for sale for years, but now that the real things are out, hes gonna stop making money. From those fans any way.

If you don't mind me asking...what did it cost you?
Depending on what you pay..I think if his prices are low enough, he'll still do alright. I'd rather pay less for the Flash series, than have all the extra "junk" anyway!

Doc, I think i payed $35 for the set. Now I have the official Flash DVD's, and there are no extras. But I'm assuming this guy's set probably isn't too high quality, considering the time they were on, you could only tape them (VHS). But either way. The Birds' set is worth buying. simple menus. 3 discs. all episodes and unaired. cool cover/ labels (if you buy them). And Flash is worth buying too, whether official copies or not. I just finished watching the series a week or two ago.
