Okay, I was cruising the world wide web and stumbled upon the November Sweeps results. While Birds of Prey was pretty far down on the list (101) there were quite a few WB shows ever farther down the list.
Check out the WB's results....none of them were very good.
64. "7th Heaven," WB, 5.4
76. "Smallville," WB, 4.7
81. "Gilmore Girls," WB, 4.4
87. (X) "The Wizard of Oz," WB, 4.0
89. "Everwood," WB, 3.9
93. "Reba," WB, 3.3
99. "Dawson's Creek," WB, 2.9
101. "Birds Of Prey," WB, 2.6
104. (X) "Reba-Sunday," WB, 2.2
104. "What I Like About You," WB, 2.2
107. "Greetings From Tucson," WB, 1.9
113. (X) "WB Special Movie: Gossip," WB, 1.2
I find it interesting that Dawson's Creek was only TWO slots ahead of Birds of Prey. How do they expect a new show to do well, when it doesn't have a strong lead in? My main question...why didn't they put BoP after Smallville? Seems to me, a comic themed night would have helped more than hurt...but maybe that's just me.
Here's UPN's results....
91. "World Wrestling Entertainment Smackdown!," UPN, 3.5
95. "Enterprise," UPN, 3.1
97. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," UPN, 3.0
97. "Girlfriends," UPN, 3.0
99. "One On One," UPN, 2.9
101. "Half and Half," UPN, 2.6
103. "The Parkers," UPN, 2.5
106. "The Twilight Zone," UPN, 2.0
108. "Girlfriends-Tuesday," UPN, 1.4
108. "Half and Half-Tuesday," UPN, 1.4
108. "UPN's Movie Friday: Bullet Proof," UPN, 1.4
Looks like UPN could use a little bit of help, don't you think? Especially since Buffy isn't doing THAT much better than BoP. Makes you wonder....
