Great News!

I just 35 replys from 50 of the radio stations in Florida. They said they are willing to support the Bird of Prey in anyway they can. They there doing whatever they can. I am very greatful for what they are doing. ALSO!! I got in touch with an old friend that works for the WB now. She's going do some "snooping" around and see if she can find anything that might help us.

Yes I did. I gave them the Link to the campaign page. I think that there going to email out all there Online Radio Listeners then promated it on air.

G Silver, I was wondering if you could post a little guideline of what you said to them to sell them over :) I was figuring if we had 1 viewer in each state in the US, Province of Canada, or region of another country willing to do what you did we could have a direct network of fan support up in days.

Remember other things to do that may seem small but actually work; put the www.birdsofpreyonline.com link in your signature at other boards you visit (if allowed), and I don't mean just Birds of Prey boards ;) On a specific wrestling board I post at my signature has gone from "Old fans in body, young marks at heart" to "old fans in body, young marks at heart willing to fight to save Birds of Prey at www.birdsofpreyonline.com". It has actually gotten a few interested supporters in the past few days ;)

Please tell us how you have interacted with the radio stations. I am willing to do the same in my area. St. Louis. I also have a fax machine if that can be of any use.

I say we take a lesson from someone with initiative (Kudos!) and hit those radio stations hard. If you're looking for a list of local stations, this site lists over 6000 in the US, Canada, and Territories.

Remember, you don't have to live in the stations listening area to email them. As long as you don't tell them you live in Boston, they'll never know. <G> I'm going to try to hit all 6000...just cause I'm crazy like that. <G>

If you find an email address for any radio station you want to contact, I can add it to our mailer, which will be sending out the press release. A quick and easy way to make sure they get the press release too. :)
