I am really excited for the series premiere to air. Pilot episodes always turn out to be one of my favorite eppys! It looks like they are doing the same thing with titles as Smallville, only one word.

During "premiere week", I always shut the blinds, turn off the lights, don't answer the phone and actually tape all shows as I watch them in case someone disturbs me ;)

I think that what sounds intriguing about the pilot is that we don't know what to expect. Like they did with Smallville, they will show us a Batman with a major twist, a new way to look at Gotham City.

The pilot will start with a theme we saw before but a theme that "sells": the shadow. That will surely be a good one to catch.

I think the show will not only appeal young women with the fact that the main cast is female, but also males with the fact that the heros kicking bad guys "behinds" are females (need I remind anyone of the success of "Thomb Raider" ;)).

I was not sure of BoP's success, but I am changing my opinion and think that it will work.

LOL, I do the same thing! I go into my room, tell everyone to leave me alone and lock the door. I always have to go out and buy new blank tapes for the premieres.

I completely agree with you, I'm sure just as many men as women or maybe more will watch Birds of Prey. I know Ashley Scott will help attract the guys. ;)

LoL I agree with the shut the blind. I'm like that too, go to my room and tell people to go away from my world and shush!

The premier episode always the awesome one and from the premier, you can know what is going on with the story. So just sit back, relax and enjoy your pop corn :D

Well, I saw the Unaired Pilot today. So the Premiere won't be that new for me. But I am eager to see what changes (other than Quinzel's recast) they will have done, as well as see the credits.

Yeah, I want to see what changes are made from the unaired pilot, specially how good the new actress playing Dr Quinzel is :)

I heard that the scene with Wade wouldn't be shown in the pilot we will see on TV. Also that the mention by Dinah of the "party" when Jerry and her are in the street at night might be cut as well.

Why?? Ok, granted those weren't especially vital parts of the ep, but they hardly need cutting :) Weird.

I don't know why, that is just what I heard. I don't know why they will cut. The pilot I saw was 50 minutes without credits and commercials. Will the aired version have 20 minutes of commercials and credits?!?!?! They did say that the premiere would last 70 minutes.

And if they cut what I mentioned in the previous post, it means that we will get like 25 minutes of crap and 45 minutes of show :( Unless they added a scene...

Suppose they could, though I'm not sure what. Haven't heard anything about that :)

But by the sounds, it'd have to be a reasonably long scene, which would be a bit odd unless it's setting stuff up for later eps, which is possible...

45 mins of show...... yuk. They better not. Pilots are usually longer than a normal episode! Grr
