Hi,
I'm kind of nervous about posting here because I'm new and this is a well established forum! I've been lurking around for quite a long time and have been admiring this show since I first read about it back in June/July.
I know everybody should really be concentrating on the US campaign but I think this might be a good time to start planning for a UK campaign.
I've been downloading the show from Kazaa (downloading Sins of the Mother right now) and although that lets me see it I would rather see it on TV.
I've just opened a fansite that is obviously UK based but I don't want to focus on that right now as it would be unfair to promote my site on here but through my site I would like to try and organise a campaign to get BoP shown here.
I can't do all the work myself so that's why I'm posting here, it's time for UK fans to rally round and get this show onto British screens. If you are interested please contact me through my website and we can sort it out, if there is an existing campaign I am more than willing to use any means possible to help promote the cause!

That would suck if they get it saved in England but it's still canceled here.

Also welcome Neil and cool site!

Thanks for the welcomes and big thanks for the comments about my site!
If we do go for a UK campaign the easiest target would be Sky One, as they already show Buffy and Angel. They showed Roswell during it's run and also showed the entire run of Dark Angel. This show is right up their street and if BoP has a chance here Sky is that chance.

I'd think Sky would only buy the thirteen original planned episodes from WB.
I doubt Sky could take over production, so the whole 'saved in England cancelled in the US thing isnt quite realistic if you know what I mean.

I think I got misunderstood somewhere, I only want to get the show screened here! There's no way that we could possibly get the show produced here although that would be cool!

In that case, you've got a very big chance of making Sky air it.
The Norwegian national television station (NRK) ordered the thirteen original ones only last week, so why shouldnt Sky?

Probably not totally but highly improbable, for the show to completely move to the UK would mean all the actors/actresses would have to move over here and the show would either need new production staff from an entirely new company or Tollins/Robbins would have to move over here too.

Welcome, Neil, and congratulations on a good-looking page!
Interesting, isn't it, that there's so much overseas interest in a show the WB doesn't see fit to continue?
Thanks so much for you efforts.
