The DVD for this film is scheduled for an Oct. 7 release this year. It's gotten a good rating at Bloody-Disgusting.com.

So what has Rachel been up to these past few years?

According to IMDB, she's currently back in LA. Other than appearing briefly in American Pie Presents Beta House, she hasn't done much.

A review of JB Monster Slayer from NY Post. The reviewer thinks Rachel's hot, lol.

Well I saw the movie. Ok but kinda cheesy. Rachel I think over does her role as the bitchy girlfriend, she could have toned it down I think but it still works. You get annoyed with her which is the point. One thing kind of surprised me, she is seen smoking at one point in the film. Not sure if it was fake or real, never took her for a smoker. As well they seemed to blow their budget on monster costumes because I believe she wears the same dress 3 days in a row, lol.

I watched this last night. It wasn't great, but a good late night popcorn flick. The cheesy monster fx were kind of nostalgic. The performances weren't so bad. I like the fact that Rachel can play such a horrible person. I think the weaknesses were in the plot and storytelling. How many time do we have to see Jack go to that counsilor? Once is enough for me. Robert Englun was also over the top in this film.

With respect to everyone, I'm pretty sure this WAS supposed to be cheesy and over the top.

Which is why I don't mind catching it on Cinemax, if that ever happens.
