OK guys

i got this from GCT
its called THE DEVILS EYES
apparently something is causing the citizens of new gotham to go crazy
a supporting character MAY die
its a single episode not a 2 parter
it was theorized they might trash all the sets
but that was SPECULATION
the episode is supposed to wrap up the series
but until i see it
i have my doubts
i mean we are obviously not getting a 2 parter
but we will see
hope this is helpful

I sure hope it's not Gabby that dies. And just because it isn't two parts doesn't mean it's not two hours long.

well im, not really sure were going to get a wrapup on this show or not
but i will watch the episode

you know now that think about it the last episode cant be 2 hours the 2 hour speculation began because it was assumed the conclusion would be split between the last 2 episodes
since10 and 11 will be shown on the 8th
and the last episode is supposed to air on the 15th if the13th
episode were 2 hours on its own that would mean the 12th episode a 1 hour contained episode
would be unaired
more then likely the last 2 episodes will like the 10th and the 11th be broadcast back to back on the 15th

there are 13 episodes contracted
since the 12 th episode is a self contained episode (feat of clay)
the 13th cant be 2 hours
because that would be 14 hours of television
and BOP is contracted for 13
so there is no 2 hour episode

I didn't mean to make fun of you, merlin.
And anyway, who's to say an episode can't be two hours long? Even if it only is an hour, that would be 13 hours and 10 minutes. It's thirteen episodes, not hours.

your entitled to your opinion

I think that usually even if it's a two-part episode, they give each hour it's own "episode". I'm just thinking that that's how it's been done on Buffy etc. Cause then usually in reruns they only show one part at a time. But you might be right that they would count that ep as 1 since it's the series finale. :)

whosh-that's the sound of it goin over my head-will you repeat that one more time-i don't understand

Cassandra Cain

Well, say they're going to have a 2 hour finale. They break it into two episodes, but then show them together. That way, when they want to show re-runs, but they can only show 1 hour's worth per week, it's easy for them to do.

For example, I think they originally showed a 2 hour season finale a couple of seasons ago on Buffy. The eps are Graduation Day Part I and Graduation Day Part II. When they showed them again over the summer, they played Graduation Day the first week and then Graduation Day part II the next week.

I guess my point is that they are filmed as two episodes, they're just shown together. :)

Here's my theory....POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD.....9

POSSIBLE SPOILERS. Harley locates the Clocktower but is unleashing some mysterious toxin or something depending on what the writer/executive producer's want, that is effecting the people of New Gotham City. Someone dies, possibly someone close, not a long term character but it will effect each of the character's lives, one way or another.

Note, the above is clearly speculation.

Think about it logically, the show has only been around for less than thirteen episodes, the finale or the final episode draws from the five main characters (not really counting Alfred since he appears every once and a while) but this show finds itself in the same position as BUFFY did during the beginning. Yes, there is a possiblity, that a character will be killed off but more than likely it won't be one of the characters, that has their name on the main credits unless the writer's/executive producers' really have something special lined up for the fans of the series.

Only time will tell.

its gonna be wade

yeah,actually it is

Actually Wade could be a possibility for the person who dies. He could stumble upon Barbra's secret and get caught in the crossfire between the Birds and Harley Quinn. My other possibility is Reese. I guess my only reasoning for this is that he is not in the comic books and im not sure but i dont think the writers will chance getting the comic fans mad by killing off a regular.

Actually Graduation Day Pt. I & II aired 7 weeks apart. It was back when those school shootings were happening and they wouldn't air 2 of the third season episodes on their originally scheduled airdates. Earshot was one episode and Graduation Day part II was the other.

Well but you can see my point that two-part episodes are really two episodes. As I said in my post I "thought" that they had done that with those episodes but that was just the first two parter that came to mind. :)

I guess Two to Go and Grave might have been a better example?

Oh you are correct about that. Welcome to the Hellmouth and the Harvest were 2 episodes but shown as a 2 hour movie when the show premiered and the first 2 eps of Season 6, same thing.
Of course Two to Go and Grave are another good example but you already had that covered.

I wish they had aired Becoming Pt. 1 & 2 together but it did add to the suspense to make us wait a week for the final showdown between Buffy and Angel.

Man, that was back when each week on Buffy was an "edge of your seat" experience.

Ah, memories......

OMG you are so right - that was such torture!

Anyhoo...I don't mind if Wade dies...his character just doesn't really add anything to the show imo.

I kind of feel sorry for Wade. He's nice enough to go out with someone who's paralyzed, Barbara keeps ditching him, he has mean parents, and now they're going to kill him off.

I think it will be Wade, even though I like him. I really don't think it will be Reese because I read at gothamclocktower.com that him and Helena share an intimate encounter!:D :D
